2nd year grow, end of july days start getting shorter here . i was thinking end of august. going to have to bring some in.
most people put plants out memorial day. not a long grow cycle.
maybe some lowryder-ruderallis type for two cycles.
i had to develope this land, so i have not plummed the greenhouse yet, probably heat with propane.
doing polycarbonate roof next month.

to answer the ? about how late....i was verifying for myself. thought days getting shorter in AUG,
was wrong, end of JULY. is fine, they should be enormous. and i can take in, tent...whatever.
is all worth it.
everything kinda starts memorial day, so, very short grow cycle.
long-time grower told me last night, likes to put 3' plants out 4th of july?
1/2'-1' a day is not unreasonable. i wrote the other day 5', they are, up maybe 2.5" since.

memorial day is the time most start, i was a bit early...WET though.
lol, i panicked, and took everybody in for a dryout right before memorial day.
some just getting some yellow out.
wetest place on earth, then...hot, was 90f today?
this is the greenest place i have ever seen though...it's just growth green everywhere...
way more than mass. more like florida.
have not been able to visit PNW yet.

probably take these in, for a month,
let one go two months inside. harvest in jan
ima pataient, impatient, but, i do keep my numbers straight

guy told me last night, like to put them out in july at 3'
everybody has an opinion right, and, we are all right, right.

Right, lol, and too true!! Yeah, ends quite late here and usually in the rain....so it's nice to hear you have the option to bring them in. It seems the growers that do the outdoor thing here are really focusing on the light deprivation....and that's a real commitment on your scheduling, unless you got the $$ to automate!!
I am on The Olympic Peninsula and talk about rain, yeah and the beautiful green, Evergreens....and moss, lol, rust. I did make it to NH about 20yrs ago, Wolfboro(sp), and it was beautiful and in full color fall...
I 'll try to not write you a book!
Hope the gardens doin' great for you---I 'll be looking for pics:)

lol, yep, we grow rust and mud here real well too. wow. i just looked up olympic peninsula...
holy epic beauty out there. it just seems older/ bigger. the soil here is great, but not deep.

hi people. answered, but i forgot to post. no need to shorten days here. we put everything plant
out end of may, memorial day, 27th. june 21st days begin to shoten...my MOB's got hairy.
Tangerine Dream is a 75+ day flower. they are over 5', should be 8'+ by end of august....
don't forget, mine are very bushy...would be tall already.
to answer your question. yes, i am "tenting" . i have everything that i am flowering in greenhouse as well. i made a tarp city. it has worked fn awesome. i give them sunsets and sun rises. they love me... i can tell! this is a pic of an MOB, 40 days in!
even in veg, i give them 5hrs solid night/dark. NO 24hrs....
IN MY OPINION.....24hr is WRONG.... NOT BETTER, NOT SPIRITUALY SOUND,
go FREE RANGE....let the plant sleep, it is a "long night" plant
i get a little better than 24hr with my "charlies' timing"
is like raising chickens in boxes...plump w/ NO LEGS? sick

DARE TO BE DIFFERENT! TRY THINGS OUT for yourself!

hi. fwww. hows your summers going people?

ok, one is over 7', others over 6'. that clone top...shes in front in pic, at 6.5', has passed 2 seeded plants! i have added nothing.
the farm where i get the dirt. i know him some now, have seen the entire operation.
its a "salad". alfalfa, clover, grass stuff. cover 20'concrete trench with 50'/200' panda film, cover with tires...let ferment. lasted about 2moths before i thought about adding food
they are ready for some love juice now. i make my own

what's up people.
ok, here's these

tangerine dream X5: tallest around 9'6", shortest over 6'8".
lsd X2, nearing 6'.
I tied the branches together at base, drilled, tied branches down.
was 15mph when I was doing it. no way they would last once heavy the leaves on the trees are changing, fall starts here early. they are almost 2wks in.

Amazing stuff man..surrealife when I get settled and start growing again (moving my family to Northern California at start of Sept) If you would be willing id love to talk with you about your methods and such im newer to growing and could use the pointers...Great stuff again man and hopefully will be messaging and talking with you soon :)

For some reason when first reading this post I didn't pick up on the fact you are from MA...I am as well and we considered moving up to
Maine but opted for the mega move to Northern California due to the children still be very young and not established in schools if we were to make the drastic change we needed to do it now..Small world amazing grow cant wait to see more photos and knowledge..been a treat reading your diary

no kidding huh, real small world. Fitchburg, ma...shithole. tried FL,TX, AZ
was drvn to cali....turned around in Tucson, at a jack in the box. LA....not for me, and I have never been?
las vegas would make me vomit...just how I am

Maine is the way life should be.
only place I could find to truly make my own environment.

Yeah we are going to be closer to Oregon than anything else where we going...Way up in California far from LA...looks like a somewhat similar climate to what we get here in NE but a lot more rain. I could never in good conscious try to raise my children in Southern California...Feel places like Maine, Oregon, Northern California are where im meant to be and where I want my kids growing up

ok, couple notes: just my opinion, it works here, for me
behind the scenes I also took a concrete form pin, and a chainsaw file and poke holes in soil to break up, and get water into the center., 27gal, these girls are taking huge water, last 2 days, 30gals each, taking 1hr, 7 big plants and some 3'. an hour. and the normal 3'4 a day still of Charlie's TLO TLC...add dots
and woman? lol. that is a laugh. they get jealous of the time we spend w/ marry...
atleast 3 have left me due to weed....but..? OH LOOK...MMJ...
