Slap14 thanks for checking in!I didn't use the spikes because they were doing so good I was afraid to eff them up! So for all that read this thread to know my soil mix is called THe Rev's mix , but I copied the recipe that Slap posted in in the "post your organic soil mix" on page 3 Post #41 to a T, and for that I can't thank him enough!
I read the rev's book which details ammendments per gallon which I referenced against Slap's list an it was dead on. So I ran with. I amped up my base soil with 3 bags of roots,30 pound bag of wiggle worm EWC and a big bag of Coast of Maine lobster compost.
Slap, I too am concerned that the 15 gallons of soil won't sustain them, so I feed them pretty heavy with fish and seaweed fertilizer , with sea green and rootamentary , and tea once a week.
Flowering has really kicked in with the alien grenades but I'm surprised the master kush are like 2 weeks behind.. I thought for sure they'd flower first. They still look awesome. I little yellowing on a few lower fan leaves. other than that everything is praying and flowering all over.
Frost kicks in around Oct 14 so I'm hoping to get 10 more weeks out of them.
Any thoughts on how much molasses I should be feeding them in teas and how often? I'm currently brewing 5 gallons with @ 10 tbsp molasses, 5 tsp each caps roots and foliar and just started adding 5 tbsp Mexican bat guano. Applying once a week.
want to keep the girls healthy and happy and hope they reward me with a nice fade.
Again, thanks to slap14 for posting his soil mix. Anyone looking to for a good mix should start right there.
Pics to follow.....

Glad you liked the mix it has been fantastic personally. There are a lot of great mix's in that thread. I just started some of Bodhi's Drunken Unicorn, wish i had the outdoor space to do what your doing. Your plants speak for themselves, your doing something right. You could still do a spike or two of just perlite, Castings and Compost.

I use molasses at a rate of 1 TBS per gallon of water. The last few weeks I try not to use much or any molasses, too much magnesium.

I feed using teas about every two to three weeks depending how often I have to water. Check out Revs flowering tea, nice balance. If you don't have it send me a message and i'll send it to you. I can't wait to see those monsters in full bloom Mass. Keep the pics coming:)

I was afraid of the spikes. I should have just grown some balls and just did it at least on once. I fed heavy with neptunes harvesting instead. I top dressed with the last of my Mexican bat guano (10-1-1) and have switched to Jamaican bat guano (1-10-0) for making teas. I also top dressed with @ 3.5 pounds of wiggle worm EWC with hope that will be enough to carry me through. First frost is @ October 11 so I'm looking at 9 weeks.
Do you use molasses with every watering slap or just when you make tea?

Hey Mass don't be afraid of no spike;). You could still do a basic spike no problem. Oh to answer your question no I only use molasses in my teas. I would go easy on the high phos, as you know it will upset the good fungi and you could end up with lock out. I think I can smell those trees from here:p

Plants continue to do really well in spite of the fact that they're really big and only in 15 gallon pots. And although the neptunes harvest nutes have been good to me so far I did feed a little heavy and noticed some salt build up on the outside of the smart pots. I'm thinking these nutes may have done well in veg but may not be the right combo to promote the best possible flavor and yield.
Equally Important to me is that nothing gets applied to my soil that is not organic or damages the living soil in any way.
I'm considering GH bid bud And flora nectar but am open to all suggestions form you organic farmers.
Thanks, masshole

Thanks mo. It took a day or two but I came to my senses. I've been all in with a completely organic grow and I'd be foolish to eff up what has worked so well for me up to now. It's just that it's shocking to me that these plants grew to 7+ feet in these 15 gallon pots. And aside from a little lower leaf yellowing and some fan leaves that are not getting any light, everything looks awesome! Flowers are stacking nicely
I took your advice and threw a couple of cups of EWC and a dusting of Jamaican bat guano and back to the feeding schedule that has served me so well. Foliar fed with a nice tea of EWC, molasses, a little alfalfa, a little guano and Caps foliar.
My winter project is to source some nettles and comphrey

A big thank you to all who have helped me on the farm ( and slap14 in particular)! My plants look incredible and at stacking on the weight. Wrapped them in trellis netting this weekend a I could see the weight of the buds was opening up the plant? Everything is going remarkably well.
I'm looking at 6 weeks til the average first frost. I'm still feeding neptunes harvest fish and seaweed, sea green, and rootamentary twice a week. Daytime temps are in the 70's to 80's and night time temps are in the 50's. How many weeks should I feed just water, keeping in mind that these BIG plants are only in 15's? Should I still foliar?
Plants are thickening up really nicely. Any insight as to what to expect in the coming weeks?
This grow will be the baseline for all future grows and it wouldnt have happend without not just the generous input of my fellow farmers, but the trial and error and general expertise I've read in all your posts for the past couple years. And we all owe logic.

Looking unbelievable Mass, If you have been using nutes kinda light, a couple weeks of just water should be fine. I would ease way up on the molasses and seaweed for the last three week or so. I only use water and tea through out my grows so I don't rally flush my girls.

Can't wait to see those girls fatten up.

I wish I had the outdoor space to run some girls like that very impressive brother
