Denver has passed a new “odour ordinance” with a potential $2,000 (£1,247) fine for anyone found guilty of polluting the atmosphere.

WTF??? my damn apartment smells of cigarette smoke from the neighbors. i keep a joint lit like inscense in here :) i cant believe they would 1. waste money on this and B. actually use this, they look like idiots. :asshat:

If I owned a carbon filter company, I'd be donating to the Denver city council campaigns

Lol just like the smelloscope from futurama
Ftr 108 smelloscope v6

Anyone notice the Miley Sirus lighting up the joint and the VMA'S in Europe on the same page..... good thing it was not Denver huh - thou she prob has 2k lunch bills ....

Carbon Filter demand about to blow up! one in every room haha. or just smoke concentrates and never worry :)

If your shit is on lock it shouldn't smell anyway.

Sorry, but this IS NOT TRUE.

I spent $295 on a 12" fan and another $325 on 1.25 CanFilter- and my next door neighbor bitched at me just a couple weeks ago because my house reeks. Yes, I'm damn sure I installed it correctly. No, there were no leaks or gaps because the fan was mounted directly to the filter it was pulling through and the seams were taped. The simple fact is that you do not want to blindly trust a carbon filter. Use your nose, and be sure to direct smell away from confined spaces- straight up is best.

I'm very disappointed that my expenditure did not achieve the promised results, and therefore I think it's important that others know of my experience so they aren't caught by surprise like I was.

Fortunately, my neighbor is a reasonable guy, and when he learned that I had gone to such extremes to protect his air quality, he was willing to cut me some slack to rearrange things.

One filter will not do the job. One in each room might though

Quite the contraption.
Nasal 2734051b

It also clears sinuses and stops bloody noses. They are designing a gun on this same platform that shoots boogers to save money on firearms and expensive ammo:blackeye: .

Glad it is only Denver rocking these new smell-o-visions.

When I went trick or treating:bag: with my kids through a couple neighborhoods this year I'm pretty sure I came across 3 or 4 grows. I could smell it before I hit the driveway! It was also a good indication that they were gonna give out some bomb ass candy! Thanks kids:hungry:

Shitty for colorado if this is true. I would laugh hard if i saw a cop with that to his nose though!:hilarious:

Dude, there is something wrong with your airflow or something. No way is pot stank going to make it through a properly fitted carbon filter using the proper sized fan with it. And those things last wayyyyy longer than advertised, I had a phat filter for my 8" can fan that I used for 5 years and it never failed.

Dang son must not have been growing some stank ass weed then cause even with 2 8 inch exhaust filters I can smell my house from 10 feet away....then again its not very well insulated tho lol

If it wasn't blowing out my window, I would have my doubts too, but I'm this case it's unmistakable. Faulty filter, maybe? How do you test a carbon filter? The one I had before this smelled too, but I thought it was just getting old.

The part that pisses me off the most is that I WAS looking out for my neighbor and doing the right thing. So wtf?

Yeah I was growing schwagg. Some chem, sour diesel, blockhead, deep chunk and white widow schwagg. LOL. I just foliar sprayed with Febreze maybe that is what kept the odors down~!

LOL I usually run chems sour Ds and OGs in my experience white widow has very little odor and blockhead I know nothing about. Equipment that I have in storage (for 6 months) still smells like the last wifi run I had and Ive had 2 runs since then. When it reeks it REEKS imho there really aint shit you can do about it.

Maybe its the humidity level in your grow space... I seem to remember that carbon filtering doesn't work very well in enviro's over 60% rh.
