I'm looking for high CBD strains in Washington State. Preferably those that counter nausea and loss of appetite. Also, does anyone know what strains have been used by those who have had cancer remission? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I picked up a few strains and will be soon starting on them right away.
CBD Critical Mass (5/5% THC/CBD) and MediHaze (4/8% THC/CBD) .

If you are an experienced grower and want to try these, shoot me a PM and I am happy to flip a few your way.

Laters~

If you get your hands on a strain, please send it down I-5 to Oregon! I have been seeking out AC/DC for well over a year now to no avail.

I just picked up some Sour Cindy from the folks at Mr. Nice CBDCrew at the cup yesterday. Sweet & Sour Widow, didn't have a chance to discuss stuff like ratios, but lab testing will help determine those parameters, right?

Made a mistake, I picked up Sweet & Sour Widow, not Sour Cindy. I didn't realize that my husband grabbed a pamphlet they handed out with the seeds that shows testing data. So this line looks like a great starting point for someone who's never worked with high CBD meds like me. Ratio of THC:CBD is 1:1, with both testing out at 5%. Other cannabinoids tested were CBN: 0.02%, and CBG: 0.12%.

Cannabinoid analysis was done by Fundacion CANNA on 21 March, 2012, and the method used was GC-FID (whatever that is).

I went with regular seeds, because my gut and head prefer regular seeds over feminized.

@Seamaiden - I just started 2 new strains from UK, - MediHaze (4THC/8CBD) and Critical Mass (5THC/5CBD). They will take a while and I have no real way to have them tested (unless anyone knows of an at home kit), other than my own testing.. but I am hopeful they will be as advertised...

They are both 8-10 weeks.. so will be what seems like forever until I have more info... :) Plus I don't yet have any cloning experience.. so hmm... Anyone want to help me learn to make seeds so I can share...??

All the seeds popped and are stretching nicely so far in their dome. (Under the Dome) lol.

Critical Mass was among the other high CBD meds being offered, but they only had feminized and I have a thing about feminized seeds. So, the big question I have for you is did you get regular (straight sex, whatever you get is what you get) seeds, or did you buy feminized? If feminized, then you have to either hope for a male, or mess around with reversing a nice lady, or just stick to clones. However, sticking with clones is very problematic, I've lost entire stables before, including my prized Mother of Thor cut, and they cannot be recreated. (This is why passing out cuts is so important.)

If you get at least one good male, you can make seeds, but you must understand that folks like you and I who are working with the merest handful of seeds are working with a very narrow spectrum of genes. It would be far better to use a couple dozen seeds from which to make selections, and exponentially better to use 100.

I know of no at-home cannabinoid testing kit outside home drug testing kits. However, sending a sample in to a lab shouldn't be all that difficult, would just require proper packaging, etc. I can't speak to cost at this point, but I can find out. Of course, IIRC, Steep Hill Labs is one of our advertisers here, yes?

Well... there ya go. It's actually one good way a breeder can keep their genetics on lockdown.

Ah, good point, I didn't think of it that way, but totally makes sense. I suppose you could use another male to get seeds from these females? or would that end up with some strange cross breed?

You could, but, genetically speaking, which male would you use? And why? This is precisely why I leave breeding to others.

No wonder everyone clones.... :)
I as well will leave breeding to someone else....

MediHaze CBD, day 18.

Just burned my first toke of a finished MediHaze high CBD med.
Taste is pretty terrible, but actually gives a nice mild high.
