Im just looking to hear you guys experiences with single plant SCROG grows as Il be starting one myself soon and would like to hear from others who have done/do it.

My plan is to grow 1 Dutch Passion Power Plant under a 600w HPS in DWC. I plan on topping it, LST'ing it, and using the SCROG method.

This is my second grow, my first grow was about 5-6 years ago with the same strain, in soil, and with little knowledge. So this will be my first "proper" grow.

Il be aiming for a minimum of 300g, although id love to get close to 400g.

So anyway, as I was saying, Id love to hear from someone who has used the same/similar methods as I intend using so that I can pick your brains over a few things.

How is your single plant scrog going? I just started one as well, and am eager to see others and their methods, I've found one very impressive single plant scrog so far, its by Flowamasta here on the Farm, check it out unbelievable.

@ Ken dog, what strain is that? Best of luck with it man.

Did it have a very short veg or something?

Il be topping mine and using LST, so a long 8-10 week veg for mine lol

hi irishboiii,
yes it only had a two and a half week veg from a clone that was cloning for about 3 weeks with a two foot long tail.
we call it a Maui Blue Dream, because it was a Maui that was accidently crossed with a Blue Dream.
we got several seeds, and this one produced the best bud. We have been cloning it for about a year now.
I just cleaned it up last night... Here is a picture showing the pile of debris from the pruning... and one of the tops.

regarding the picture, I am only using the 300 watt mothership LED from HTG supply... Which also has a blue in it...it is a triband.

but yes, I have two blue 110 watt UFO LEDs that I use for veg...

I highly recommend them, for those who want a smaller UFO light for veg only... for a bigger light, I like the 240 watt super veg LED by HTG supply... at right around $3 for each bulb... Which is better than the usual $4.20 per bulb.
the super veg light is also excellent for flower... believe it or not.:)

the plant in the picture was vegged under the 240 watt super veg LED...and cloned under the 110 watt blue UFO LED.

My first time scrogging I was an idiot, wove the plants in and through the screen and did it before I sexed them! Imagine a woven 3x3 plant carpet that half is male and you gotta cut it out, I just totally missed the point!

It works best with indoor-friendly extreme sativas and 600w lights from what I've read. Or your choice of indica and a long damn wait time.

This is mine is an outdoor greenhouse grow using supplemental lighting. Using a long veg cycle and now have around 4-6 weeks of veg left before the flip to flower. Photos below of progress, will spare you the story of the flooding trouble I had at the start .

I’m doing one now. Ak47. Organic indoor. LED for veg, HID for flower. Veg takes its time in soil of course. But with how sticky my buds came out last run, I had to do a single plant Scrog, and I mean a real Scrog. Pulling a pound from a 7 inch tall plant in a 3x3. If this works out. I will continue to do this on my favorite strains.
