I couldnt really find a thread to answer my question so if u guys can direct me to one or help me out that be awesome.

We recently broke down and bought a 20lb tank and a regulator for one of our rooms. Ive never used CO2 so my question is what kind of intervals do i run the tank at and do i turn off my inline fan or can i keep it running while the tank is running. Also what ppm should i be running. My buddy keeps telling me that i should be running a controller with it or im just wasting my time so i might go pick one up. Here's my room stats:
10' x 7' room
4 aircooled 600 watt hps, 8 inch inline exhuast, 6 inch inline intake, two oscillating fans, i have an a/c i never really use. Room runs at a constant 80 degrees when lights are on.

Anyone help will be appreciated guys. Peace.

Your def going to want a controller
Titans are the shit if you want a nice one
Discount hydro has some caps left that are dirt cheap as well

I run my stuff 'analog'. I have an accurate room co2 sensor, co2tank+ regulator hooked up to a timer set for lights on hours, and I adjust the reg so it puts room where I like it for the temps I'm running that day- cause I switch shit around all the time. got the co2 'sensor' at WTG for like 100 bucks. pretty f'ing accurate- unless it's just lying to me....

Oh and put the exhaust fans on a christmas light photocell timer so they only come on at lights off.

Thanks for the reply's guys. I just installed the tubing and everything's hooked up. The Dude that I bought the Titan regulator from had a Titan atlas controller for $100 which looks to be a damn steal. Ima hit him up right now before I start running the tank. Shoulda just bought it in the first place.

Cap. I need some more bennies. :)

If you're running tanks and you want to use a controller make sure it has the "fuzzy logic" mode. MGG

So here's a little update. yada yada yada some good controllers for cheap fell through so we ended up with a c.a.p. air 3 with a ppm-3 co2 meter. After this run I'll get a titan atlas 8 cause I gosta have that fuzzy logic. Check it.

They've been loving it.

Set the co2 ppm at 1150.
