Hello fellow growers! I have a few questions I've tried researching about and I never came across the same issue I'm having. It's my first time growing, 8 diamond og's and 22 Larry clones. I'm in the end of the first week of veg (not counting transplant week to 5 gallon pots - soil) and roughly have 10-15 plants that are already 11 inches tall! :nailbiting: I know it has to be stretching because I had to have my light pretty high up (5ft) from the baby girls because of bad heat issues (fixed that) but 11 inches?! Is that normal? They're under 2 xxxl 1000w fan cooled lights now and only been provided 6.4-6.5 PhD water every three days..they were under one in the first week n a half or so, just turned the second one on the other day. Is it to early to start any type of super cropping or fiming to control the growth? I've lowered the lights, one about 18 inches away (runs hotter), and the other about 15...I've tried digging for the info but didn't seem to find anything close to this growth spurt :banghead:...any help and opinions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advanced.

not to early to start doing a little topping etc. that might be a little close for those lights though. keep an eye on them 1000w that close to those young girls might be a little much.

Hey brother I'm starting my first cycle of kens gdp from DARK HEART NURSERY out of the bay area I'm going with the tomato trellises inside of my 4Ă—4Ă—7 tent on 600 watts but I have been considering tomato rings or bamboo posts. Any advice?

...have you considered barebulb vertical?

this is a 4 x 4 closet with 8 plants in 6liter coco hempy's surrounding a single 600HPS that regularly pulls close to an elbow per cycle.

Well I have 17 ladies and I have lollipopped them and topped them 2xs in my 2 week's of vegging I'm going to just go through with my traditonal method which is coco Hydro, using pro blend nutrients for vegging with great white root enoculant, and organic azamax for pest control 2 humidifiers and 3 honeywell fans and 6inch in line fan. This is my first time using the "sea of green" grow method. But i have been curious and highly interested in the vertical grow setup. What Strains are u having the greatest success with?. I tend to stick with indica's due to there

...when i was first learning my chops i ran a high-density micro-SOG in a small cab with 55x 1liter 'pots' under a 400CMH and where i pulled 10 plantlets every 2 weeks, ...it was VERY labor intensive. ...my grow now is easy peasy lemon squeezy.

...the outside.

Yeah they really are gonna be some bushy girls. They're looking amazing and recovering real quick already from the supercrop and fimng. Its almost overwhelming how fast they're growing for my first grow but I'm really looking forward to it. Here's a few shots a full night after. I bought heavy 16 nutes to use and I'm not sure if I should even start it yet cause they're looking great without it....second week of veg starts today, thinking of starting it next week.

Raise your lights up 30 inches from the tops of the plants or after a while they will start to burn. You only need two of those thousand watt lights running right now they will cover a 4x4 section, that will help control your heat. Make sure you supplement Calmag Iron because the OG's go deficient extremely fast. They will start to yellow out in about two weeks if you don't! Looks Good:cigar:

Hey fellow farmers :) It's been a while since I've been on here and I thought I'd post some pics of the girls. I'm in week 5 of flower now and they are coming along quite nice for my first time growing. At least that's what I think lol. Comments, opinions, and advice are welcome. The front left are the diamonds, a lot leafier and has longer hairs. The others are the Larry's. Let me know what you think :D
