Some trivia for you.
Purple is a color that appealed to us way back.
In ancient times in Phoenicia, purple was highly coveted due to the difficulty in creating dye...
Made from the shells of small snails..
And so purple became the color of the rich, royal and those in high offices throughout the Mediterranean.
In Roman times it was the color of royalty.
Later, Catholic Bishops took up the color...
Thus purple has come to represent royalty and piety.
At least until the 60s where it became associated with the psychedelia movement!

I have the mother going right now man i don't have any of the trainwreck because it hermied pretty bad on me, just the purple trainwreck not sure if thats what your asking i can snap one when i get home if you want man.

Then purple came to the masses when German chemists made a purple dye from pine tar( or was it coal tar?).
Suddenly the royals where surrounded by purple.
