hey peoples im thinking i have a phosphorus def but not 100% shore if the syptom im seeing is a phosphorus def or not so any reassuring comments as to whether it is or not would be helpful!!!

i've just finished battling with a cal def which i have now sorted thanks to a wonderful lady called miss maidens help but whilst i was trying to fix the cal def i also noticed some purple petioles and purple streaking on some stems which have been there for a while and as far as im aware thats 1 of 3 things which is either plant genetics magnesium deficiency or phosphorus deficiency and latley i noticed those deficiencies in pictures on some of my leaves!!!!

the effected leaves are at the bottom of the plant and effect the big fan leaves!!!

growing in veg at the moment!!!

growing in hydro rdwc!!!

ph between 5.5 and 6.3!!

res temps 6.5 to 7.0!!!

room temps 70f to 75f!!!

rh 40% to 50%!!!

flushed plants 2 days ago!!!

i cant work out how i got the deficiency as everything seems to be in check tho my lack of experience and bad memory aint helping none i suppose tho never the less i seem to have a deficiency anyway and as long as i can pin point what def it is that i have that will at least help me correct the problem!!!!

This is Straight out of my MoMs old Spell Book as she called it back in the day

*Gloria (NPK) is hurt, she is all winkled and brown on the bottom (Frick ! ) idk

Maybe it is the fluoride in the water, good for teeth bad for my babies and I didn’t forget that I fed her with My blend over a week ago. Tell JJ (Dad) to stop smoking in the damn greenhouse (Cigarettes and other) Every time He has friends over in the greenhouse some &^%# happens.

Her fix: dilute the fish-tank-horse-shit, feeding Blend, add some eggshells, and she don’t touch um as this was also she thought older damage that the plant had already recovered from make sure to know when its already fixed. Found out later it was older damage and Gloria grew Fine.

This was right before mom started focusing on hydroponics exclusively.
She NEVER let PH go above SIX

Evaluation : Even small levels of smoke can be an issue and nutrient misting the way Mom fed with a spray bottle, can cause Folic Scorch symptoms . If the plant is hot and the spray is to cold also.
what about the way you humidify the grow area, take a look at that.

This was one of mom’s favorite mother plants grown from Seed. The seeds came from neighbors who were from Pakistan they were heads, mom sure loved their Honey oil and when she had a chance they would trade. One small detail back then Dad called it (Nukum Paki Killer) NPK I believe it was Pakistan Black.

I may Not be able to grow Yet… But I don’t mind trying to be helpful best of luck
