Hi my temps are 26 day 21 night hum 60% growing in coco strain m39 4 week flower not sure if it cal or mag in using cal mag from the start any ideas thanks
The Cal Mag that I use is 2:1 Cal:Mag so I need a little Epsom Salts to keep things sweet.
No. 2:1 Ca:Mg is a dismal ratio. What I see in the pix is an advancing calcium deficiency, adding more Cal-Mag to it will only make it worse.Hi my temps are 26 day 21 night hum 60% growing in coco strain m39 4 week flower not sure if it cal or mag in using cal mag from the start any ideas thanks
Stop keeping the pH pegged up there. Let it range from 5.8-6.2. Get some calcium into those girls. You will not reverse the problem, the best you can hope for here is stopping progression. Get the Ca:Mg ratio more along the lines of 4:1 (which is still painfully low) to 6:1, and a higher ratio of Ca:Mg is going to be better here. Take care of the Ca form, EG don't drop a bunch of dolomite lime on it, because that's not only a bound form of calcium, but it's a bound form of magnesium. If it's CaCO3 then use a liquid product that's gotten the CaCO3 into solution. If it's a CaNO3 product, then adjust the nitrogen you're feeding.Run of ph is 5.9 to 6 I feed at 6.1 my ec is 1.8

Calcium deficiency, advanced and advancing. Epsom salt is MgSO4. There's not a single atom of Ca in it.

Next time, charge the coir properly and feed sufficient Ca from the get-go or you're going to be chasing your tail trying to correct a problem that will never resolve once it's gotten to this point.
Calcium Nitrate is all you need.Any suggestions on a good Cal product for coco growers. I use a cal/mag product once in awhile...but not a lot. I use tap water which I think helps. I have had these issues in the past though. I actually add more mag as I grow, and I still don't get the cal issue.
Bio-Link Organic 6% Ca. LOVE that stuff.Any suggestions on a good Cal product for coco growers. I use a cal/mag product once in awhile...but not a lot. I use tap water which I think helps. Were you able to source some finally? My doc has me take CaNO3 because I take Rx GERD meds. Any form (dry/liquid)?

I have some of Jacks Calcium nitrate....but it sure has alot of N in it. I am looking at a new product from Grow more right now.Calcium Nitrate is all you need.
It's all relative. Depending on what else you are suing for nutrients, the Calcium nitrate on it's own is just about right at blooming and you can use it with other nutrients that have a small amount of N during veg phase.I have some of Jacks Calcium nitrate....but it sure has alot of N in it.
