What is your point with that experiment?
It seems the base boosted plants look greener? Bigger buds with heavy 16?? *Heavy 16Another very expensive nutrient
How long have you used APTUS?
Have you grown the same strain with and without Facilitator?
I want to see a side by side of the various silica products out there
F Y I
I called APTUS
They recommended FLORA NOVA as a base
I WOULD think
Maxi SeriesBLOOM/LUCASwith APTUS additives could be a game changer
At least offset the cost with the most inexpensive (and best IMO) base powder

@SoComa Kid
Your observations are correct. Greener with one larger buds with the other.
The greener is from WIN which is impossible to get rid of. Plant will always use it as it's breaking down. Thus the need to constantly reduce the amount if BaseBoost.
Experiment was to determine needed amount of both for maximum yield lowest cost with the ability to reuse medium. And at the same time making a system that a trained monkey could replicate.
Have used aptus since April.
Efficiency is what I am after not necessarily individual grow cost. The goal is to provide the identical end product every week.
I have grown the same two strains for 5 years. Indoor and out.
I have used...
Protek &
Humboldt nutrients Si
Both have been good products and have had their place in my closet.
I switched from Humboldt nutrients. I grew both strains side by side before the switch and the results were substantial. Now I haven't tried not using fasilitor with my current regime.

Dude thanks for such a good response.
I veg in solo cups for 20 days or so.thinkinkg about adding like a 1/2 dose of base pellets to the beer cups
Can't wait to hear/see results
when you do add the FASILITOR to your lineup keep us informed
Also the reps said it was totally fine to FOLIAR WITH fasilitor. ...sounds awesome

I am using fasilitor. Wouldn't grow without it anymore.
The two that I've grown forever are Lemon Skunk from DNA Genetics and a girl we call the Bruce Lee. She was handed down to me. I am her third keeper. She's about twenty now.
I foliar with Fasilitor when fixing a deficiency. I use Aptus to correct for deficiencies.
You can grow with the base pellets alone. I use that for my outdoor seed crosses. Plants survive for 5 months in a 4".

I most definitely want to start using fasilitor as a foliar...

Fasilitor w / caps magic bullet foliar seems like it would be golden......

@SoComa Kid

Fasilitor is aptus best product imo ( havent used the all, but based on the aptus pros , and based on my findings )...

I think every other product is up to the user..

I will be drop startboost most like because im confident my teas will do the job, if not better.....

Also, I think heavy 16 it's a better base with aotus than fnb..... but I doing love the fact I don't have to adjust the ph with fnb , because it's in perfect range once mixed for me ...

I wonder this as well. I use it sparingly now. Mainly for clones as my teas seem to cause issues early.

I use those every other week. I have a vortex Brewer from progress earth and brew that perpetually. The final two weeks there is a different tea.
