yeah so this is bizzarre to me trying to go through a checklist and think its a sulfur deficiency? The biggest difference other than actual age is that the cuts were sitting on top of a bed of coco and the roots came out of the containers into the bed but other than that they have been getting the exact same nutrient regimen. The cuts have also been getting watered less up to this point. But dealing with the same exact plants, the moms are about 8 week old started from seed, the cuts are about 4 weeks, but the cuts are now bigger it makes no sense to me. The moms had been in 5 gallon buckets, with a 1 inch layer of pumice on the bottom, they were being fed 1x per day with 3/2/1 at .8 to 1 ec 5.8 to 6 ph, with 5 ml of fulvic/gal. I'm assuming that the cuts being in pots above the coco bed let them tap into the resources that were being drained into the bed so they never got deficient. I'm also assuming that because i was never higher than 1 ec and was watering to about 20% run off that salt particularly k build up is out of the question? So i flushed with a 1.4 ec 3/2/1 but added .5 gram/ gallon more of Epsom at the end and dropped the ph down to 5.6 since for the S. the runoff was 1.8 and 5.7... last week when i checked runoff it went in at .8 ec 5.9 ph and came out the same

My plants do best at ph 6.3 in #4 not all strains like the same ph. Based on what I see in the pics my Rx would be raise the ph to 6.2 to 6.3 , dump the Jacks 5-12-26 ( I had terrible results with Jacks ) switch if you can find it to Plant Prod 7-11-27 mix exactly as you would Jacks add some pro-silicate into your nute mix 5 mls to 20L . I really think your plants are not liking ph that low but there is the possibility you are developing a root zone issue to make your roots a lot happier grab one of Caps root packs and use as directed for a while you really can't loose on the root pack. If you go with Plant Prod 7-11-27 also add 1/3 of a rounded teaspoon of Epsom salts to 20L of nute mix. I make my base nutes Plant Prod/Jacks + Calcium nitrate up to 750 ppm before adding anything then water it down to the ppm's I'm looking for which would be between 600 and 700 ppm then add your supplements. Good Luck

thanks, im more just curious how people would explain that the cuts i took off the mom are already bigger and healthier than the moms since i have been literally feeding them the exact same nutes just been draining off the moms more.

I run jacks...dtw...in coco...have used tupur...liked coco loco better....any who I would suspect a problem with your roots...a bug or fungus perhaps? .your using jacks correctly.....runoff is good...the clones are flourishing....I would check the roots..

Ok so if i transplanted about a week ago into beds and the roots were nice and white they were almost a little root bound, in hercules pots with pumice on the bottom is it possible that at a low ec like .8 i could have just a regular old S defeciency?

i just pulled one out to check the roots: after 4 days the roots were still in the shape of the pot, like they hadn't ventured out into the bed at all they were a little browner than i had remembered but still not looking too bad

A little browner ! Fuck it start feeding EWC tea it can't hurt it's cheap if you have a root issue and it should shut any root rot pathogen issue down right away if it's just starting up. I have been trying to figure out why my plants are all fucked up for 2 years finally I realized it's root rot EWC tea is helping beat this shit but it's no fun to try your best and have sick plants.
