Purple Frostbyte

A few weeks after they popped

This was after a month, and the next few were from last week

So i recently pulled that male, i was to worried about it relasing pollen all over my house and forever having purple frostbyte seeds in every girl i grew from now until a while. It was a stout little man with large fruits, even in 24 hr light it was preflowering like a mofo and i even thought i saw a little nanner open so i cut his ass down. Not sure if it did or not but i didnt want the three remaing gals to get knocked up so early. I have three plants, and 2 phenos that i can tell.

The two are smaller and stockier, they almost seemed to hit a height limit of about a foot and have just began filling in with a ton of dense growth of small branches. I topped them both and then topped the 2 shoots so they should be little purple bushes, makes me think of Pauly Shore " Purple stickkkkyy punnnnch". They both have a earthy purpy scent, just has that sterotypical purple indica smell, with a little bit more of a savory scent then a fruity purple smell. They both are nice and i assume this is the most common pheno in the seed run only becasue out of the three females two have this squat growth pattern and smell, also the male had the same growth it was more vigorous and taller but it remaind squat and filled in, also had the same smell as two squat females.

The other pheno is definetly more sativa side, as sativa-ish as a Peyote Purple x Querkle x Querkle can be. But the growth is much more lanky, the space between nodes is around 3 inches give or take, as opposed to the squat pheno that is aboout 1 inch between nodes. Im hoping this one will yield more if she ends up filling in. Shes taken well to topping and has thrown more shoots, hopping she gives a decent stretch when i flip her, if so i think shel be almost 2 times the size of the other. I dont predict them giving much of a growth spurt. One to the smell, its stem rub is quite lovely, its got the distinct purpy scent as almost all purple strains but she is much sweeter, i hate to compare it to jillybean because i dont like that strain as it dosent get me high at all, but it has some of the super fruity scents along with the deeper richer purple scent. I usually dislike sweet strains but this one has me hoping its got the taste and high to boot, as long as it makes my eyes red, and makes me sleepy im happy.

I still need to get to the store and grab some stuff. Im thinking im gonna go with pro mix as opposed to FFoF, simply because i will have more control, but who knows may switch it up last minute. Any suggestions are appreciated. Ill take picture once i transplant and they get flipped. Think i may run them under a MH for the first week and half, then switch to HPS, then back to MH for the last week and half and flush. Theyve taken a beating but have gone on strong, i think once they get in there 5 Gallon homes they will settle in nicely and pump me out some dankaroos.

Just got my stuff moved in and set up my small flower tent, I was gonna flip them and just get some smoke for myself and run these to see if theres any of them worth keepin around, but i think i may veg them a bit longer. They were in horrific conditions and were underfed, underlighted, and just abused for the first month, so they have some catching up. Also purples tend to veg a bit slower.

Once they get over the trnsplant shock i think they will take off, ill post a few pics then. The two smaller phenos that are more squat plants smell like purple poop, they have the oddest smell, its repulsive but at the same time you want to smell it again because your like "what the hell, is that dog poop?" This is only when you go in deep for the stem rub, but i think it will be intresting flavor as it develops more.

A few pics of the plants, the tall one is the Querkle leaner i geuss, which definetly makes sense. I didnt know that Querkle was a tga strain, the smells the tall one puts off is a purply earthy scent underneath a overwhelming sweetness almost like a jillybean sweet.

The other two squat little bushes are similar, one is definetly taking off more, but they both have the same growth patterns, and put off the same smells. Not sure if this is more of the Peyote Purple side or its just an indica pheno, i havent seen any pictures or reports of what Peyote Purple grows like or where it comes from, any info would be awesome Hammer Head, or others. Anyway the smell isnt that strong yet with any of them unless you go in and rub the stem. But the squat pheno smells like the same underlying earthy purple scent, but they also put off a sort of funkyness that is almost akin to poop, i dont wanna say poop though, its not nearly that offensive, i think people know what i mean. They are stacked tight though and im hoping will be nice productive little bushes, there almost to tight to train, im hoping since i transplanted they will bulk up.

I plan to let them grow a bit, ive topped them all multiple times and i will bush them out once they start their stretch. I think i may see how they perform with the mininmal training, then run the one i like while i wait for some seeds to germinate. Im hoping that i can time this to have the next round of plants to flower along side the cut of purple frostbyte. At the moment i have no cuts and am trying to have something perpetual. I am going to pop some Solos stash from Bodhi next and hopefully that can run with the PF after I flower these three, and the solos stash has a couple months to veg and pull males.

Also this is some stuff grown by a friend a bit north of me, the first pic is the WW and the second the BC. The Blue Cheese is serious heat, it is just strong, deceiving ly so. It almost has a euphoria like no other pot I've had in a while, and no ceiling. I smoked some at my bros last week and met up with dude today and was glad he had some left. The widow looks way better but I'd say potency the blue cheese is one I my favorite new strains. Gonna try and get some cheese genetics like the old school smell of the cheese but have only gotten it a handful of times.

So they finally started taking off in their new homes, there in FFOF and a little extra perlite. They sure veg slow but I think that's true for most purple strains. The smells have slowed down, but I think that's from it putting on a lot of new growth, once their flipped I'm confident they will get stinky. Enjoy

I only popped 5 seeds, 5 seeds split one just decided it didnt wanna open, and one was a male. I wouldnt call that crappy

I definetly didn't give em love in the beginning but I doubt that seed would have made it even if I had my setup proper. Just stalled out after it cracked. Why would you be butt hurt? Were you trying to get some of these from Hammer time?

There popping off took a week or so after transplant but I'm gonna take cuts then flower, gonna scrog the two and tomato cage the taller one, or just take big cuts and prune it down a few inches. Getting flipped tommorow night

Gonna buy a new camera soon, so hopefully i can take some better shots next time i run this plant, so pretty. But heres a couple shots of a trimmed up bud from the short pheno, and a drying branch of the querkle leaner.
