Got some plants outside that i flipped about a month ago using light dep. they all came from fem seeds.

they all looked pretty nice until one plant reversed on me- it's still forming and stacking up its buds but i can clearly see pollen sacks (and pollens).

I have my other plants still in light dep and i worry they will act the same and reverse... I dont know why its happening- they're all still in light dep and my self made tent is supposed to be light proof.

sorry for the noob questions guys, i need your help with this...

1. Should i assume all the rest of my plants will act the same and reverse? or can i rely on the fact that if they didn't reverse by now, they wont? (i rather chop them now and lose 50% of the final product's weight than to have seeds in all my buds)

2. if i decide to leave this one reversing, what kind of seeds should i expect if it'll pollinate itself? will they be S1's fems?

3. should i isolate the selfed plant so it wont pollinate the rest of the ladies?

i have more questions but that's enough for right now...

Thanks everybody!

Chop that shit down asap at any sign of male pre flowers if a single male pollen sac has opened up the hope for sinsemilla is a bust unless the pollen is sterile.

How long has it been throwing nuts. Ill twll you right now a little pollen goes a looooooong way. I had 3 pods pop on me and im stil breaking buds open to find seeds. I have found more then 300 seeds and still got 4-5oz to go threw. this was all an accidental open pollenation, With a male. im not sure if a herm will put out as strong pollen to fertalize that many calyxes.

As to your other question i would have alredy had that bitch culled for doing me dirty like that. get her out my friend.

As for your worry about the other girls. The way that most fem seeds are produced is by taking herm pollen and applying that to another separate female plant. This will create a good amount of females. Do not forget that the hermie chromosomes will still be inside of the genes. So there will always be a bad egg, just sucks that you got it and you happen to have it in your room next to your other gals.

I would keep a diligent eye and make sure none of your other girls are acting funny.

o_Oo_OSome pics would really help so we can see whats going oN.o_Oo_O

Really cant go beyond this without pics.
Happy farmin;)

yes on isolating her from the others or just chop her.. and remember, outside the wind can carry pollen pretty good. Where did the seeds come from? Sometimes people think when a plant goes hermie and self pollinates that these are feminized seeds and passes them along to others, not good.. most likely this trait will be passed along to it's offspring.. If the seeds are from a reputable place, then I'd lock myself in that tent when your doing the dark cycle and check for any leaks.. Check your other plants very carefully man.. And like others said, most likely if your seeing open sacs your already going to have a few seeds forming.. you can grow these out of you want but I'd say chuck them if this plant went hermie this easily.. hopefully you don't get to many seeds if you caught her early.. good luck man.

these are some solid advice! thank you guys!

beans are from devine genetics, i noticed pollens today so i hope if i chop it now it'll have minimal seed presence.

@Quagmire you have some good points there buddy- although i suspect this trait isnt genetic but rather induced by stress from unnatural light changes... this one may have been the most sensitive to light cycle changes than all of the rest...

i'll post some pics as soon as i can,

Thanks again fellas!

Only support honest hard working breeders that breed cannabis seeds naturally and take the time to stabilize there work. I'm not trying to start another trashed thread about selfed/reversed seeds but any "fem" gear will always have a chance to either be bunk from the start or even bunk out anytime dury flowering when conditions are shitty. Root bound pots missed a water whatever the slightest bit of stress can make fem gear go queer at anytime.

If no one's mentioned it, the minute you see those sacs you want to start misting down EVERYONE and watching for pistils to turn brown. Misting with water prevents pollination, and pistils turning brown tells you whether or not it's taken.

:( i inspected all my plants, two of them were in really bad shape, they both selfed and continue showing more and more pollen sacks so i had to chop'em down...

i sampled some buds and the smoke is real nice but some buds has some seeds...

right now no other plant is showing signs of developing pollen sacks, so i hope it stops now or at least give the buds enough time to thicken a little more.

@geologic the two i chopped are casy jones.

Thanks everyone!
