Wow, so my neighbor left some plants in my yard while I was at work yesterday.
Some gsc, a thin mint, purple trainwreck, and a querkle
Didn't get to look at them until this morning, and they are hammered. Certainly got his scraps, but hey they were free. Part of me said "It ain't worth it," and in a sense it isn't. Decided to go ahead and give em a shot though. Figured the worst case scenario I yield nothing out of them and learn a bunch, so here we go. Gave em a good flush with some simply silica at 6.7, RO was 5.0
Pics later I gotta go eat me some eggs Benedict

Hmm should I keep flushing it until PH stabilizes or ????

I would, but not with silica.i would flush with light grow nutes like 300ppm or .5ec until thats what comes out the bottom a day or 2 later.see how they respond and go from there . Gl

Already looking a little better and forgot there was a GDP too :D

Woke myself up early enough to spray for mites, outdoor foliar is a pain in the ass working swing shift

Sorry bout the crappy pics got too much shit to do today

Ouch, Looks like a slew of lockouts mainly being Phosphorus mainly showing on the top two pics the rest look like MG but could be Ca if they are lighter shades between the veins of the greener growth. these are probably due to a pH issue shown by the clawing. were the pots wet when you got them? If so, could be due to over-watering and/or over ferting.(notice how the tips are burnt to hell) I would suggest pretty much what sixstrings said. but by the size of them, I would just use some RO water with about 250-300 PPM's of Cal-mag and that's about it.. continually feed them with that for 3-7 days and watch for improved new growth.

Flush it good once with the lite nutes and then let her breath. she needs to dry out to get rid of that bad mix just as much as she needs to get it flushed out. once you flush them it is VERY important to allow them to dry completely out. I would even wait for them to start drooping a bit if need be. but being that they are in about a 3gal pot, you probably will flush with 3-4 Gallons and then let them dry out for 4-6 days depending on how much they drink.

The good news is, they are young enough to bring back and capitalize off of.

You also might want to pick up some clone gel and take some cuttings of them once they come back so you can keep the stuff you like ;) IMO I would keep that querkle around.

Happy spring and keep em green! ;)

Starting to get some good growth
built a little lean to for them to replace the little pos greenhouse I found in a free pile
The Querkle and (one) Thin Mint are actually inside as they we're still in solos and didn't have signs of mites
transplanted them into half and half Light Warrior and super soil

The rest of the posts will be in my grow journal

Sounds like you have a handle on um with some good advice I would for sure take a few cuts to lay up fer the next round as you have some keeper keepers
sending ya some Positive Green growin Vibes
