Scotts Og....3 Hermies Out Of 6 Beans

ok well i just checked on my "ladies"....found another hermie....so that leaves me with 1 plant out of 6, that MAY be ok...thats still to confirm in the next few days....


but so far, i am very unimpressed with your genetics...ghost train haze #1 is the slowest growing plant in my whole garden, both in veg and flower...and all but one of my scotts OG have hermied out....have never had this happen to me before...

No xp with this cut but my push does this week 2 of flower puts out about 3 to 10 nut sacks. i pluck um off but the pollen is sterile because i never get seeds in the near the bud that it shows this trait.

Not to say youll run into the same situation but just my input.

yeah, not willing to risk my crops on that, id rather find a pheno that dont do this at all, or just not use these genetics at all...still got 6 scotts og beans and 6 skywalker og beans and 3 purple og18 beans....so ill be able to test through those...see if i can find something that dont herm on me and produce buds so i can try these strains out.....so far got 1 skywalker, 1 purpleog18 that are females for sure...and one scotts og that im 50/50 on, need a few more days to tell for sure

Super bummer, much props for sticking it out and finding a keeper, I've only had the priveledge sampling their freebies a bunch but nothing grew past second set of nodes.....:(

Yep....Scotts OG and OG GTH#! both hermed like a mofo...STILL got a bunch of RD gear that will never see daylight....oh well live and learn. MGG

Same here guys. My Scott's Og hermied around week 2 and all my Og gth also hermied around week 2. No more rare dankness for me. What sucks is I just bought and started some rug burn Og and some cornbread. Won't be wasting anymore on them.

Sucks about the hermi's. Glad to see an honest report though. Saving a lot of people a lot of frustration.

If this many people have had the same problems I would have to think the breeders are aware of whats going on w their stock ....I wonder how many companies actually test their products. They do realize some of us do this to make a living. ..right?

yeah thats exactly how i feel ggnome...imagine a farmer bought seed for his crop, invested money, time, energy, all season untill late fall, to only see his harvest have to be destroyed and disposed of....guess what happens, farmer goes bankrupt....and seed company probably looses a good portion of their clients due to reputable farmers having issues with their seed...

my rugburn og are looking fine, but really no special smells and i dont see them being anything special to be honest....my GTH smells of fresh cut grass, and is only about 20 inches tall, where as all my other strains are from 40-70 inches tall..and they were all flowered at the same time and similar height....another strain that is just low quality...

i got one scotts OG thats looking nice...out of my 6 beans(that one didnt pop and 4 hermies), its crystally and has a decent smell, maybe at this point, compared to my other genetics, i would give this scotts OG a 7/10....though i may be being a bit generous there considering how the rest turned out lol...but again even this scotts og that i got thats nice, is no where near a keeper as a mom, just something your happy to grow once and thats it...

Some terrible breeders out there. Then you have the ones on this site that will ban your account if you complain about their gear.

Second this. But i got Hermie's in good breeders genetics too however they were fem seeds so I wasnt all that shocked. Would be more upset if that happened in regs tho

I only found 1 RugBurnOg out of my pack that didn't throw a few balls in early flower. But I have a knack for getting plants to herm. So I got her pregnant with Sour Bubble hoping to make seeds and find a RugBurnOg dominate pheno in my seeds.

well, just so you guys know, ill be sending in one of my creations to logic soon, 100 packs of 20 beans each, to be given away as freebies when you place an order with him for something else....the strain ill be sending in i call dirty harry....i urge you guys that when these do get sent out by logic, that you should pick up a pack of whatever you guys want, and get a free pack of dirty harry along with it...really killer shit man...20 beans a pack, FREE....and not a single fucking hermie with over 200 beans tested so far, only 16 beans didnt pop out of 200, male/female ratio about 35% male and 65% female ...keep your eye out, ill be talking with logic shortly about sending them in and how he will be distributing them(maybe with certain purchases only or with all purchases, i got no idea...)

again, keep your eyes out for some Dirty Harry freebies ;)


ps: this is one of those times when most likely the freebies will out perform and just be better quality that what your purchasing...i know we have all had that happen to us at one point or another ;)

Wasn't going to say anything since they were free, but I gotta say those odds are making me a little jealous

ya i hate when ppl do that, rezdog was notorious for that lol...there are a few others....

i on the other hand, apreciate the feed back, whether good or bad, it allows me to improve, and thats our main goal here, is to always keep improving...if you shut your mind and ears, and close your eyes, you are not learning nor advancing...its only by critique from others, that we can evaluate our situation, and then make necessary adjustments to continue forward on a better stride....


i love critique, and often do so myself, though it may sould negative to some, its all in how you take it, as i only mean to say my opinion, and i expect the same from others, though i may not see eye to eye or the same way another does, to hear anothers thoughts and visions are what will make me think a bit deeper and question things...

so when these dirty harry freebies get sent out, i expect ppl to give out their opinions, whether good or bad..i wanna hear it ;)

How will we know if we are getting your freebies or someone else's?
