Hi guys,

doing a DIY LED. Decided to go CREE cxb3590.

but, I want one from the good bins.

How can I find the good bin? How can I tell which bin a product is in before I buy?

I found the answer from the CREE documentation but can't find an image to link, so here it is

SSSSSCC-WWW-FF-GGR-AAAAA

SSSSS = series
CC = performance class
WWW = chromaticity bin
FF = flux bin
GG = VF class
R = CRI specification
AAAAA = Internal code

I believe GG is what would give the answer. I'b guessing VF has something to do with Flux.

Flux bins is what you're looking for/at. Called the "group" in the main part of the data sheet.

CXB3590 is the model#, 30G is the 3000k and the CB is the bin in the pic

Vf = Forward Voltage, R0 is 72V
