I was looking at some led strips, how do u rate em?I deffo need another panel to go in the centre of my two mars hydro 450 reflector series,I've got a 600cooltube at mo in middle, but not using it as I'm struggling with heat.might invest in a couple of them strips though, how many watts they draw?

The strips are 20 watt a piece, so a 3 gang is 60 :) they're a nice bit of kit and can do your entire veg cycle for hardly any draw. They obviously work for the full cycle. So far I'm really happy with em :) they may be a bit pricey for some as they're Budmaster and I honestly do rate BM and that ain't just as they sponsor me lol. When you go with BM you may pay top end but you do get top shelf :) :)

I've gotta buy a small tent for veging in.andcould do with another panel.was gonna get this deal off mars ,a tent n a 400 w ,mark2 5w diodes.but I'm thinking now cobs?what u rekon.

Cob tech is ok but you still get some normal issues unless your going top end. The heat is always an issue, then you have the lack of penetration. This is normally due to the angle of spread etc.
I think dependant on your grow style etc Cob Iis ok you jyst have to remember its limitations.
Budmaster are soon bringing out a Cob and it has some really nice upgrades that ill be able disclose soon! :) again BM will be hitting, or indeed possibly leading In new levels within the market.
Anyway lol. If your getting a good deal for a tent etc I'd consider it :)

I e been using led's in my veg for about a year now. I absolutely love them. Considering trying a run with them to see what happens but the gravitas are killing right now.

Love your plants man. Look well taken care of.

you

rekon I'd get better penetration from a mars ll unit than a cob unit of same wattage and price range?advice appreciated as I'm gonna buy in next week or so,cheers...

Yep unless you wanna spend big bucks on top flight I'd go for the normal lamp :)
As said Cob tech is a tricky one, its quite flawed in its actual design. The first and best design is patented by a certain company and therefore most other designs have a kind of work around that doesn't quite sit correctly.
In a few weeks ill be receiving a new Cob by BM who are working in partnership with this original company. This lamp will have way more PAR than a usual one and will have a couple of features that are a first for this type of light. The price should be in a more reasonable range for something by BM :)
As ever though if it were to suck, ill say without pause that it does! My work online is most important to me, so I'm brutally honest with any products Ive ever been supplied with! :)

Well lets have some pics :)
My main girls are going great and my little space under the Cob is doing alright as well :)
My fluxes are almost where I want them now, I want 50 limbs per flux plant :)

wow, you've got that mainlining down to a t...nice job.do you do something extra to train em,I was just wondering as you call it fluxing.wicked looking room though mate..

Yep fluxing is my adaptation from ML. I started doing a ML plant but thought it to simple etc as I'm a bit plant OCD. I top a flux only 3 times and can have as many limbs as you want and still only top 3 times. I also only work with every other node as they sit side on to the main arms and create even flow! :) Then whilst working out the base you strip all growth, to promote the plant into building just one huge colas per limb. Then as its all on such an even base you get them all acting like dominant colas.
Then I utilize a feeding loop. You raise the very end colas site on each end slightly higher than the others. This means they become dominant and call for the most energy. Yet the others limbs all pull off their energy before the 2 dominant pair and thus with a correct feeding level means a loop can be created :)

Well my friends Im still a chugging along. I did have to chop a few a touch prematurely. That was just being safe was all. The upside is my biggest girl has the room to spread out! :)

More updates tomorrow enjoy! :)
