Also posted in Tnelz thread, but that thread moves fast! So I;m posting appropriately here as well.

I'm upgrading from 1k in flowering to 2k. Need to redo some ventilation and my space a bit, so I am throwing on a sketch for some opinions/help/reviews. Things always come out better with more perspective!

I have 7'10" ceilings. A veg room and a flowering room. 600w MH for veg 2k HPS for flower. Basement grow. One window to vent out. Basement stays relatively mild temp.

Let me know if you think this is the most efficient use of my space for 2k flowering.

It's hard for me to see exactly what's going on. But try to limit the bends in the duct for better efficiency. Use hepa or at least dust shrooms for intake. How are you stopping light leak from room to room?
In the winter I vent back into my house. Just keep an eye on my humidity so I don't get any mold going on.

I'd suggest not venting lights at all, just pull in cold air from outside, using a fan speed controller to manage temperature.

Anyway that's what I do over winter months.

Summer though venting and A/C are essential but I'm running 4K. In my space I can run 2k without need for A/C by venting the lights & running them at night

Here is a new upload showing things a bit more clear. I wanted to put the plants right in the middle of the room so the light ducting is a strait line, but it doesn't seem like my space is best suited that way.

What do you think? Plants against the wall, or in the middle of the room?

I am blocking the light using a hole in the drywall. I will stagger the holes on each side of the wall diagonally. Then I will use pieces of insulation to created a light blocker.

With the 'o' being empty space..


Like ^that^ if it makes any sense...
