Hey guys, first i would like to thank everybody for the wealth of information on the site. I pretty much dedicate my whole grow to the site, did all my research here so I finally figured I would start getting up some posts and pictures since I'm a little behind. I'm not the type of person to post anything online or even do much online, but since I've gotten the recent grow bug everybody keeps talking about. so first off I got everything started September 15 little late for the Oregon start because I didn't have my shed sed up yet and was not completely convinced my wife would be ok with it. taking out all my garden stuff. But i do have the most awesome wife in the planet she don't use it but lets me! I wish I would've started outside July 1 when everybody else did. So my plans are to have the shed during the winter months in Oregon running 1000 W hps and during the summer months maybe do a little outside.
So I took my tuffshed insulated the whole thing. Oh yeah it's 8 x 8 x 7started off with Dutch treat one God Barry and Chocolate Chunk and Yoda OG in Foxfarm ocean forest 10 gallon containers vegged for a month then flipped using all Foxfarm nutrients besides Forielar sprays. so now i am about into week 3 of flower . experienced some mildew issues when i flipped to flower in week one (the first pics) i used some green clean and it cleaned it right up.....kinda lol....well the mildew. so after a couple more days i see some worm like bugs! thrips so i about freaked so i just came to thcfarmer and wamo! Monterey Garden insect spray. now we are back to normal the guy at the grow store told me to spray it every three to five days he reassured me that its ok even during flower but to no spay last two weeks. any advise would be nice. i can't do anything about it my shed is in my garden so to get to it i have to walk through my garden hard to keep things nice and clean and bugs out. so thinks again i will keep up with the pics and if i can figure out video thing it seems as though you need a youtube account and i don't think i really want to post it on youtube first. any advise is cool I'm just a noob.

Hello and welcome!

This is the time I would normally say something along the lines of use the search function and whatnot but I think it's unwarranted in your case.

Very nice for a first time! Took a hell of a bite going with the 1000w but if you've already got gardening experience, this growing herb will be a breeze for you. Just another flower in your garden :)

For the pests, I would consider getting a couple of other sprays to use as preventative maintenance sprays. Those critters can develop resistance so you'll see a lot of guys here use two or three different substances and alternate their usage to prevent immunity from developing. Neem oil and spinosad (sp?) seem to be some common names I see thrown around. Seeing as you are in soil, look into Cap's beneficials and predatory mites as both will help alleviate the pest issues. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, literally in this situation.

Overall you look to have a solid handle on things! Looking forward to seeing you around the farm!

Thanks a lot tobh ya those buggies suck just sprayed some more green clean this morn went to take a look tonight look amazing even a little shimer swear to God they love that stuff almost like a foiler spray, but it kills mites and most flying insects well as they say.. Seems to work really well.

Looking good, be mindful with your nutrients, looks like you're getting a little leaf tip burn. Nothing major yet but that stuff can get out of hand quick at this point in flower.
