Co2 All For Nothing?

well if you ran sealed you needed the co2,if that makes ya feel better lol.it could have been better at higher temps yes,but being sealed you needed it.at least you didnt have to deal with smell.

I haven't ran co2 at low Temps like that but I can tell you the fastest growth rates I have been able to achieve have been at 85f 75% humidity with lots of light. Running at lower Temps might not be getting full benefits of co2 but I can't tell you that from experience.

It's all about the VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit).

Also, its better to get a laser thermometer and take leaf temps. Your room can be 80, but depending on style of grow, your leaf temps can wind up being 85 or higher. Also take note that some strains respond better to lower levels of co2 than others.

I stopped running co2, and honestly I can see an increase in my quality with the fresh air exchange.

i been tryin to tell people that for years,its a matter of quantity or quality.my bud is way better without co2

well that would depend on what you mean by "work" lol.if you seal your room and dont use co2 your plants wont "work" without co2.but if your talking about excellerated growth rates,yes it needs to be warmer than 78f and the co2 is not fully utilized until around 84f.but if all other factors are not on point like celtic mentioned vpd,or nutes,it would be a waste of time imo

ever use TNB Enhancer ? (CO2 product) The "bag" products are not worth it and really don't work

I agree with the guys on the quality issue with co2 I run about 1000ppm in veg and up to week three or four in flowering then cut it back to 400 to 600 ppm. I am not an expert with co2 but it works for me. If I wasnt trying to seal up and keep odor in I wouldn't f with it at all. My last 24k warehouse I didn't have neighbors ,smell was not a concern so I ran her ventilated with no co2.

- you do see results with CO2 use ? the product by TBN says 1500ppm in a grow space - b ut is probably a 4 x4 grow space or smaller, Thoughts on ?

As I stated earlier.......this is kind of inaccurate. Your room can be 80 degrees, and if your leaf temps and your humidity isn't in range, you are not doing much to boost anything.

Case in point: I was running a Vertical tree room a few years back, had LOTS of airflow going on and 5 tons of cooling in the room. I had to run my ambient temps at 79 because my leaf temps were right at 84.

So....like I said.....a laser thermometer is needed to accurately dial a room in.

That is interesting, ill have to buy one of these things one day
my leaves always feel cold to the touch if they did not i would be worried as this would be a sign the leaves are shutting down to retain the water inside them as the plant is unable to drink quick enough to cool themselves

i tend to run my room at 80 to 85f which makes the plants drink lots of water and grow faster and bigger
i find if the plant can keep itself cool by drinking from an unrestricted water supply (hydro) along with enough air movement to keep humidity around the foliage low so the plants can transpire into the air effectively works well
for speedy growth
