Not really a breeder but more of a hobbyist who likes to make his own crosses for his own use and 2 friends. Together were are called "The 3 Amigos" So let's say: Genetics 4 Fun by the 3 Amigos

I found the Auto Flowering world about 6mos ago when I decided to get back into growing after about a 4yr break away from growing the prior 8yrs, all starting way back on Planet Skunk as Mcgyver .. lol
My method of madness..

I personally like to work with genetics not really from large seed banks but more from good friends I've met all over the world.. Seeds from Canada, UK, Denmark and Australia trying to find strains others have goofed around with.. this way they are unique in there own way already and giving me hope of creating something that next great hidden gem within the bunch..

Some names you'll recognize for sure, some you will not.. Sour60 so far is my favorite and will be the 1st one I try to work with breeding while always trying to use phenotype of S60 as I move along..

It all started with a single (10) pack of AK47 x Sour60 seeds I received in a trade.. NO, not here so chelax.. lol. The 1st batch he sent me arrived crushed by the auto stamper, hehe... but being a standup dude he replaced them and walla, Sour60 came into my life..
I had very little choice in what male to use on this very 1st cross as only a few showed and I picked the best

Growing out the F1's as Seraphim19 explained to me they were I found fresh seeds pop very quickly within 24hrs.. wowza. I grew these out to test and was so very happy with what I had I decided this will work fine to start with..
The greatest thing I found out about breeding with Auto Flowering was that you can allow the males to open up pollen sacs while the females are barely showing sex and have few pistols out to collect pollen and produce seeds during the next 6wks.. min for seeds in my opinion. but because you barely have females showing sex getting pollinated you lose very little bud to the seed production and can get approx. 25-45 seeds per plant, I got 120 off 3 ladies..
All friends who tested these F1's were very happy with them, I called them BubbleguN F1...

Now off to the real fun.. to make a few new crosses using the last 10 seeds of BubbleguN and to cross them with the following..
BubbleguN.... AK47 x Sour60 (Male)
Females hopefully..
Sour60 x Superfreak
Deimos x Maxine/Superfreak
Maxine x Maxine/Superfreak
Assassin F1

The first one I'm very excited about as the Sour60 in this comes from a different source and his plants are huge, amazing & frosty.. (Canada) all of these are from our Northern Friend.

Superfreak = SSSR M39 x AK47Auto worked to an F4 to get rid of some strange leaf structure in the 1st 2 sets of nodes, thus the Superfreaky Leaf's giving it's name.. some nicknames just stick.
The strain was stabilized by my buddy to the F4 and was looking so big and prolific it was used to make many different crosses..

I started 6 of each of these and kept the best looking 4 of each by traits like who shed their shells with little to no help, fast germination which the BubbleguN yet again did in 24hrs..soaked in water 12, sank to bottom stayed down.. paper towel/baggie then atop the tv sat receiver for warmth.. 12hrs later tails and into organic dirt.. Roots.

Now at day #5...

Soil.... Roots Organic
Food..... Roots Organic Buddha line, Roots 66, Oregonism XL, 3-4 of each are growing strong with 2 Assassins showing out of 4.. hhmmm?
Gave them their 1st shot of Root66 but no real foods usually until they show sex, I found it can stunt the growth pattern of some Auto's for some reason..

Well, sorry I did not keep up with this thread, maybe I can get a little more interest in it being further along in things..
I wound up with 2 males I wanted to breed with... an Assassin F1 I hit the BubbleguN with and a Gorilla Grape I hit all the others with...
Females that showed:
2 - BubbleguN F1 ladies... one I'll keep working, the other I"ll most like shit can the seeds from or toss outside.. more of a single cola shorter plant, great for SOG of which I don't grow really... the other is a freaking bush with lots of budsites, my keeper..
3 - Deimos x Maxine/Superfreak ..... 2 of one phenol and another a bit bushier but most same height and good producers it looks like.. I hit all 3 of these with the Gorilla Grape cross and have big hopes for the offspring since they share the same Mom.
2 - Gorilla Grape x Maxine/Superfreak ...... I double potted a few of these in hopes a male would show up next to a female for ez breeding, but, no such luck.. however, the male that did show of this strain was so nice looking it was thought female until it sexed.. super bushy, tight nodes, very nice looking male..
Here they are a little later in the grow and in the doorway my Blue Himilaya Auto..

Shit son it looks like you said fuck it and jackknifed right on into it.big ups keep on killing it my dude.

Thanks man.. I do appreciate the big props... I can't believe the luck I'm having with these Auto's since my 1st grow being kind of a failure having 1 plant of 10 seeds show and it was stunted.. then a friend sent me the BubbleguN, which I nicknamed that... AK47 x Sour60 and it all has started to blow up from there.. since then I've had others gift me all kinds of AF strains like the other 2 I'm growing with my BG in this grow..
My next goal is to make my own AF using a photo period strain, take it to F4 or F5 to start breeding out the photo period side of things then start back crossing it to bring it full Auto.. but need to talk to our Guru Seraphim to see if I'm on the right track or not.. probably take years.. especially with my small setup..

Check out this AF cross of Lowrdyer 2 x Blue Himilaya.. The Beast I call her..

2 of the strains I'm working with have a mix in them called Superfreak.. gifted to me by a good M8te in Canada.. so, figured I'd let ya's know what was in Superfreak.. and what she looks like.

Mom was.......
Super Sativa Seed Club - Skunk 1-Basic 5 Hybrid

M39
Skunk 1, a real winner, crossed with the Basic 5. The Basic 5 is a variety which has been cultivated successfully in Holland for quite some years and which has demonstrated it's value very well in indoor growing as well as in outdoorgrowing.

The female Basic 5, which proved to be the best during commercial cultivating, has been chosen by us to be the seed-mother for this hybrid. The Basic 5 is small, solid and thick-set Indica plant with heavy buds, covered plentifully with resin. So, suited very well for indoor growing, the high is extremely heavy.

This hybrid assures excellent results for both, indoor and outdoor growing. Using the plantlet method, an indoor yield of 2000 grammes per sq. Meter is possible. The yield outdoors depends fully on the growing method employed. A few large plants provide fine crop, while more small plants give a better yield.

Lowlife Seeds - Automatic AK47

The new wave of auto-flowering hybrids is finally here, and leading from the front is the Automatic AK47. This was our first foray into the auto-flowering world and still our favourite. Crossing the very best AK47 we could find with the auto-flowering genes of Lowryder, we have produced a strain that is the perfect blend of the two. Everything that we loved about the AK47 has been left intact from its beautiful aroma and resin encrusted buds through to its unique bud structure and astonishing potency.

The cross with Lowryder means that now it can be grown virtually anywhere. Balconies, patios, window boxes, indoors or outdoors, connoisseur grade marijuana is now attainable for every grower. Auto-flowering strains flower in response to age rather than light cycle. Automatic AK47 will grow vegetatively for approximately 14 days then enter into a rapid, almost violent flowering period. For the next 56 days they will branch out profusely, throw out pistils in their thousands, calyxes will swell and a coating of resin glands will make the mature plant glisten as if dusted with fine diamonds.

Odour levels are quite high and a large quantity of flowering females can certainly produce quite an aroma. There are 2 distinct variations in aroma, one is somewhat spicy and the other is sweet but both types produce the same effect. Previously, especially in the northern hemisphere, the average grower was limited to the strains one could grow successfully. Now with Automatic AK47 you can grow marijuana that before, many would have no chance of fully ripening under natural outdoor conditions. With a lifespan of a mere 70 days from seed to harvest it is not only possible to get an early harvest of high quality marijuana but multiple harvests per season.

Indoors, a perpetual harvest has never been easier to maintain. The increased height compared to earlier auto-flowering strains brings with it increased yield. Indoors under lights is the optimum growing environment for Automatic AK47, coupled with a light regime of 20/4 and adequate root space, yield can easily surpass 40g per plant but even outdoors with no supplemental lighting during summer, 30g per plant is very common. We believe that our Automatic AK47 is the most potent auto-flowering hybrid available as well as the heaviest yielder.

Genetics: AK47 x Lowryder
Variety: Mostly Sativa / Ruderalis
Type: f1 hybrid
Harvest Date: 56 days from start of flowering

Here are some shots of her and a few phenotypes she shows... the pollen I used is Gorilla Grape x Maxine/Superfreak on all these plants in this thread.. Maxine is just Critical Max

That's a fucking elephant dick on the blue Himalayan . How's the smell and flavor of her? Looking good .

yeah man, she really blew up.. Only one of 5 plants that turned out that big.. she didn't show sex for almost a month.. She smells and tastes like a Blueberry plant, very sweet with all berry flavor but not super grapey.. got a solid 2oz off her dry, so not to bad but should of pushed her another week. Problem is I do this for the wife and she loves the up high, so I chop mostly at milky trichs vs more couch lock with ambering.. I FIM cut her to slow down upward growth and she just kept going another 14" above the FIM cutting area.. never had that before, but the FIM cut did make the lower branches start taking off which is mainly why I do it.. Here is where I cut her..

IMG 0158

I did it about 2wks after she showed sex by simply gathering up the top of the plant in one hand and taking all the leaf material in my hand and cutting all of it in half.. now this is not topping but a technique a guy found on accident thus FIM = Fu_k I Missed.. doing this makes the plant concentrate more energy on lower shoots while it mends itself.. then she took off 2wks later and started growing upward again.. got more seeds of this, hoping to make some seeds with her if I find this pheno. again.. cheers.

Well, today I verified that seeds are in production on my BubbleguN F1 x Assassin F1 male

Deimos x Gorilla Grape x Max/Superfreak
........................... x.....................................
Gorilla Grape x Max/Superfreak male

GG female x Max/S.Freak male above

Everyone is looking seeded and at day 30 they are about 2wks seeded and since seeds take a min of 6wks to form and the plants have 7wks to go things should fall right into place..
Here is the Bubblegun F1 female who is seeded..

Here we are at week #5 and things are blowing up quite nice.. looks like I will get a few seeds but next time I'll allow the male to drop pollen another week or so to get what I want.. but actually with Seraphim's project coming along soon I really don't need to be producing junk when I can work with stellar genetics such as his.. looking forward to starting some test seeds for him right behind this grow..

So, here we are about 10 days later.. looking frosty and starting to smell quite a bit.. some have a sweet aroma, some smell of coffee and earthy smell..

I could not be happier, did a seed check last night and everyone is seeded up with probably about 20-40 seeds each, just enough for me to work with.. and then my BubbleguN is loaded with seeds.. the main plant I want to keep around..

Well, all said and done I wound up with about 75 seeds of my #1 project BubbleguN and about 40 of each of the others.. this pre-flower pollinating method is the bomb for me.. wastes very little bud and you get seeds to keep goofing off with..

I must say that Sniper is becoming quite popular amongst my friends who have tried it and now a few are growing her.. I've taken her to F2 so far and each time choosing the best parents possible to keep isolating the Sour60 side and now the Superfreak side.. The seeds are huge and open up very fast.

Here are some budshots of grow #2. Some are next to full size mason jars and the one is next to a 2gal square nursery pot..

The next one I'm very happy with using the same pollen donator as I did on the Sniper, Gorilla Grape #5 x Maxine/Superfreak is DV8R.

DV8R is used 2 plants that share a genetic line, something I find that helps stabilize a crossing of plants very fast while adding something new to the offspring.. the female used was Deimos x Maxine/Superfreak created by a great friend in Canada using a AK47 f4 in his mix of things...
