Hey guys, any thoughts or opinions about this scenario would be greatly appreciated!

Just the tops are tight and rigid. Like they are all shrunk up and pulling in.
The growth below the top of the canopy looks healthy.
The plants went from perfectly healthy in one gallons to deficient in the 5 gallons after transplanting and getting put under new lights. They immediately showed signs of calcium and magnesium deficiencies.
Growing in coco
Strains: Cherry Diesel and Gorilla Glue
Almost 5 weeks old
Flipping into flower in 2 days
First three weeks of veg under T5s
Last week and a half under 315w CMHs
Temp 72-78F Humidity 50-60%
800PPM of CO2
PPMs are right around 1000. One feeding earlier this week jumped to 1250.
Using heads formula with GH and adding 5ml of calmag plus to each feeding.

My thoughts are that maybe this is a magnesium deficiency from overloading the calmag?
Or that they are starting to get stressed from the lights? (which have been on 24hours)
Maybe its some nuit burn from one hot feeding??

Thanks,
Smallz

Things can get locked up quick in 5 gal pots if the plants aren't eating everything. I would water with tea or something around .3-.5 ec and see what the runoff is. If it comes out more than .3 difference continue with .3-.5 until they tell you they are hungry, Or runoff is less than what you put in.

Since I've been monitoring my ec and ph runoff I've seen a direct connection to ph and ec. Start keeping track, you'll learn a lot.
In bloom when my ph starts to drop lockout is around the corner. When ph runoff comes out same as what I put in things are good. A liitle swing is to be expected.

When ever I try to add more shit gets bad. When ever I water light with teas things get better. I think deficiencies are rare. More likely to much stuff in the soil. Make sure your getting 20-30% runoff! Let the plants eat up what's there. Careful adding to much cal/mag all the time.. I use at 1ml per gal with ro water, but I don't think I need it. I'm pretty sure the nutrients i buy specially made for cannabis have the stuff I need in it. As long as I don't add to much :)

The Gorilla Glue is a Cal/Mag whore. I'm constantly battling a deficiency with that strain.

I found that adding a Bone Meal with 3% Cal (Root Rally from Age Old) during every transplant. And supplementing Epsom Salt in my mix one a week helps.

Adding a nitrate Cal/Mag (Botanicare) with the feeding also gives them an available form during growth.

Calcium is a slow moving nutrient that usually stays put once it reaches the leaves. That's why you see the spotting in the middle and new growth.

I grow in Coco also and i keep my pH around 5.7-5.8. I've tried to up my pH to 6.0 with this strain. Calcium is usually available between 6.2-6.5. But going too high will lock out other necessary nutrients.

I'd be interested in hearing what your results were and what succes you may have had.

Hope this helps!

I run alot of glues for about 2.5 years. During veg I run ocean forest soil.and don't use any type of nutes for the 6 week veg time. I've never had a cal/mag issue. I've grown over 70 glues in that time.

Great looking grow - ever consider raising co2 to 1500 ? more cost
