im soo fucking tired of cleaning trays and reservoirs

I use Care free's pond protector. It is an enzme that cleans up my pipes,rez,and roots. When I was done I just had to hose down the rez to clean it out. JK

i have the same setup as you and i have 2 clean it monday and it does suck but i wonder how good they are for the environment

Right on, yea I bought a few for the 4x8 trays. I have friends that are raving about them so we will see if they make the cut on my garden, I bought them off their website supposeably they are recyclable

I just got rid of my 4x8 tables and i've never been happier. thos liners look like they are the way to go. I've also noticed ebb & flow gets the table really dirty, to compared to a top feed system because the water level goes up the sides of the trays, then drys, and cakes on. with the top feed the table never gets over an inch high. the top feed allowed me to use up the whole 70gal res in one week without top-ups because its only needs probably 5gallons to run throught the tubing, instead of having to refill it twice during the week with ebb&flow so the pumps dont dry pump because you need like 60gallons to flood the table, then after topping if off twice a week i'd have to drain a full res at the end of the week. I feel your pain, and some does my girl who i gave the tables too, shes cleaning them as we speak

I used to do aeroponics what a pain. Switched to small pots with promix for sog and am so happy I did. Run off is pumped out to my veggies.

I should post some pics of my buddies grow, I was over there last weekend and he had two tables with liners wich he didn't really have to clean, then the other two which he was bitching about having to scrub lol

I'm so stoked, I put the liners in last night and flooded the tables without the plants in them. No leaks or anything and the water pushed the liners down inbetween the crevices in the tray for a perfect fit. I think im in love

Takes so long to scrub a 4x8...guess i shouldn't be surprised as most of you are automated farmers it sounds like, just giving you folks a hard time.
Guess I'm ole-fashioned I scrub out 50 or more 5gal containers witha vinegar solution every run.

all that cleaning is overrated, i just flush my system & its ready to go for next round. a layer of grime likes to build up, but that is a place for your good bacteria to grow!

actually I have heard that can cause nutrient lock out and create deficiency's, that's just what my hydro guys have told me.
