Hey all
Basic setup info
day 30 flower

Below feeding scheduled is for the 4 days before i flushed due to salt buildup and scary runnoff ph " slurry wasn't as bad"

Medium Canna coco

Nutrients per 4 litres
5 ml each a +b
3 ml pk 14
2 ml calimagic
Tap water ppm 230
Total ppm 1000
Lights. Mars2 400w and a Mars 300w
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Northern light's blue on the left, bagseed on the right. Both showing the same problems, It started with the bagseed first, i was being a little lazy and neglecting to do runoff ppm tests for a few week, seeing as the plant was fine i become complacent. So when i started to see some deficiency high up on the bud fan leaves i know i had fkd up. PPM runnoff was, bagseed 3k northern lights 2.5k. Runoff ph was low at 4.7 :(. At this point the northern lights showed very minimal deficiency, Bagseed on the other hand was having a hissy fit.
So i flushed 2 days ago, with around 200 ppm at 5.9 to 6 ph. light feed right after flush at 400 ppm, then the next morning at 600 ppm and this morning at 800 ppm. Runoff ppm is now around 400 " still charging again" and ph is now 5.8 for the northern and 6.1 for the bagseed Slurry tests show ph for both to be 6.1.

It has gotten worse after the flush 2 days ago. Ph is now good ect. Should i be feeding more or less? should i still be adding calimagic when my ppm for a+b is 500+

So do you think i'm feeding it enough with 2 ml calimagic per gallon, or was it lockout before i flushed that cause the deficiency. I'm only getting the symptoms on the top sites, all the lower leaves are fine.

K, first, never do a pure water flush when growing in coir. Second, that doesn't look like a mobile element deficiency to me, I fin myself wondering about S but it doesn't look like that, either. Third, they look really hungry for P to me.

Gimme a few, I'll be back.

Ok, offhand, could be overfeeding/toxicities going on here. It really does look just like a Mg-, but those are stupid easy to correct by giving Epsom salt. Which would BADLY throw off your Ca:Mg ratio, so I won't recommend it right now. I wonder if you're giving too much P & K with the addition of the PK 14 or whatever it is you say you used.

Your pH parameters are where I'd like to see them.

The burnt leaf tips also suggest overfeeding here. You have already flushed, so if you do another make it a mild flowering solution, not pure water. Now I can't remember what your EC readings were. D'oh!

Yea, i agree with thinking its not purely mag def, as i,m getting it in new growth. It still seems like ph problems. All my lower leaves are great. I fed again this morning with 800 ppm 5ml of each a+b, cutting out half of the PK 14 to 2 ml and adding 4 more ml of calimagic.

If it's occurring in new growth, AND the plant isn't being moved back and forth from artificial light to sun light, then you have to look to mobile element deficiencies here. The most difficult element to handle when growing in coir, IMO, is Ca.
