Hi , I was just curious if it's possible to tell if your female has been pollinated or not or things too look for some people say to watch for the hairs to shrivel back and turn brown but that could happen regardless of fertilization correct? The calyx look swollen and seed shape and I did have a male in the room but its since been removed. I can go either way on this having some new seeds would be nice or having sensimillia would be nice aswel so it's not a total failure although the male was a strraggler so that kinda sucks hes passin his genes on. Here are some pics if anyone who's pollen' chucked alot can tell? sorry if it's a dumb question.

So I'm assuming I can't really have best of both worlds? Since the seeds will need a lot longer to mature than the buds , I mean I could wait it out and still have buds but by that time the thc would have already past its peak and started to degrade? And I'm guessing I should start introducing nutes again seeing as I was flushing them out but if I need to mature the seeds more I should start feeding again

Hmm that's a good point. I mean on one side since they're already there I'd say it's almost worth the bother to just let one plant finish with the seeds and harvest the better of the two. But on the other hand it's a straggly male that pollinated them , and it was a northern light male ,and juicy fruit female so although it's been done before I've heard cross breeding is much harder than breeding two of the same strain. As much as it's nice to be able to smoke the herb you grew yourself I enjoy growing more than smoking it at the same time. decisions decisions.

For sure looks like they'll be seeds soon.. As for being able to tell really early if a cross has happened, that's a good question. Other then looking at the male, not sure.

Hmm yeah there are still some white pistils not many at all though and the rest have kind of turned orangey brown and shriveled back into the calyxs. And in regards to a cross the male was Northern Lights and the rest of the females are Juicy fruit so i'm assuming it's a cross. The buds are almost ready but the seeds are still green and soft

Hmm weird. This is my first go with breeding not that it was entirely intentional. I was originally planning on breeding the two to see what would come of it and have some extra beans and than decided against it and when I went to move it I tripped before I could spray it down and POOF. so that was that.
