This is one of my plants. 7 weeks old autoflower, white pistils are showing up at all the nodes. Looking at the tops I can see a small dense cluster. Are the just compact leaves forming or is this the top flower beginning to develop?

Thanks.

Yeah I could tell. Don't sweat it, your doing just fine and your plants look healthy and green. The grow book doesn't go into such crazy ass detail but it hits all the spots that you should know.

Get yourself over to the uk awesome members thread.theres plenty of us from the UK on here.its more about chatting shit and winding each other up rather than growing though although talking about growing aint off limits.lol.
that plant u posted looks fine.as deisel buds mentions its just a flower forming.or a leave thats part of a flower.just relax.stick to your regimin and let the plant do its thing.just dont water too much.its important to have a cycle were you let the soil or watever medium u use to dry out a good bit between waterings.over watering is probably the most common cause of problems for new growers who always think(as i did wen i first started) that it makes more sense to always hav the soil nice n wet to keep water available for the roots but it doesnt work that way as the roots need oxygen too.constantly wet soil can stress and even kill a plant.just a wee tip so u can avoid that situation.

Thanks man, I'll take a look. To be honest I didnt think I'd get this far in the beginning lol, but stuck to it by taking every day as it comes. So far im really happy with results. Will definitely be doing a second grow. I got 3 auto seeds and put them under a 4x4 T5 that I had sitting in the attic for about a year. Had to improvise with growing space until my tent arrived as well. While these have been growing, iv been putting equipment together bit by bit for the next grow. Cant wait to see everything up and running. Thanks to everyone for your helpful words.

Good choice for ballast, don't expect a huge yield with those autos and that t5 setup. So don't get discouraged. With that ballast in mind , don't forget about heat, so another hot topic is ventilation. Plan it out and do it right. It's best not to spend money in the wrong places and plan it out , shop around and save $

Yeah I went for a dimmable digi to push out some extra lumens. Never expected to be awarded with a massive yield with what im currently using for these auto's, but my next run will be way better when I get everything up and running. Will be doing a grow journal next time after I finish these girlz. My hydro store has a 6 inch air cooled reflector and ducting put aside to be collected tomorrow. That leaves me with just the extractor fan to get then im ready to step it up.

Watch out for those extra lumens, your basically over driving the bulb which diminishes the life of the bulb. You can underwrite a bulb ando be ok but once you over drive it yeah your killing it faster :) fyi

Can you do the same with a MH bulb?

Stupid auto correct. Not underwrite. Underdrive !!!!! I don't mess with MH bulbs because they can explode . But I'm going to guess if you overdrive a MH bulb your more likely to EXPLODE

@DieselDuds. More energy efficient during veg as well so I'll just stick with the T5. Make sure you tune into my next grow as well. Could do with the friendly technical support
