You can rock push just fine at 25-30ml a gallon. It will make some of the pistils a little brown but haven't seen any real draw backs from it. Prob the kelp extract in it that causes it. I was told you can spray it up to week 7.

I posted this in another tread from an old email from HR. Not sure a lot of people know this.

Chris-
FYI we do tap water formulas for any region's tap. All you have to do is send us a water sample and we will formulate specifically for that regions water. You will get as good results as if you were using RO without wasting time and water .

Is anyone using the Hydroponic Research veg formula called RMX? I am about to start a trial room with it and then switch to DOS for flower coupled with Shine and the foliar. Crossing my fingers as I have never ran HR. Any tips appreciated.

Oh I see how it is!

Coming from mixing raw salts I always want to control things. That said, sometimes its just easier, cheaper, and less stressful to let the pros figure out the formulas. Thanks to all those who have contributed to the thread. I have nothing but hope jumping into this project. Heard some great testimonials.

Hoping to break over 3 per without the fine tuning.

What is the RMX you speak of?

I use Veg+ Bloom "Dirty" with +Life and +Size

I met Chris from Hydroponic Research at a Maximum Yeield show in San Francisco. He gave me sample of his product and I compared it to a room of GH 3-part. It was easy as my spot at the time had two flower rooms on separate water tanks.

The Veg+Bloom room was a better finished product, was frontier and stickier and way easier for my workers to use.

I have used it ever since (2 years.) I use it on my outdoor plants too, but outdoors I don't even ph, I just use non-RO water from an outdoor hose.

The only thing I add is Advanced Nutrients Ancient Earth early in veg and Terpenator during flower.

Thanks for the Heads-Up on the new foliage product, I'm gonna order some now. BTW - I've seen Chris's Veg+Bloom in a few of the local stores here in the SF Bay Area.

Been using it for 3+ years now. And it's gotten better and better. In the beginning I was running it too hot (high ppms ~ 1000ppms/2EC).

You really don't need more than 200ppms for veg 4-500ppms for early flower with a peak of ~ 600ppms until the buds are near fully developed, then start backing down

First 2 pics are from current bubble pail, the rest from from December harvest. On it I did use + Size, which is expensive. Not sure it's worth it

Do you add any cal/mag to it? I'm getting some sort of deficiency I can't figure out

Yes it seems plants under hi-intensity leds use more CaMg. I start my mix adding ~ 1/4 tsp to 2 gallons of RO @ ~ 20ppm= ~ 50ppm, or a total of 70-80ppm to which I then slowly mix V + B using an electric blender

Ok good, I added 1tsp of calimagic per gal. And it seems to be getting healthier , I'm Using gravitas @1150 watts that's was probably why! I'm using the DIRTy base with a soiless tupur soil. I'm using tap for veg @350 ppm after adding VB and +life and I'm at 900ppm after calmag it came out to 1200 fed them any it seem to be doing great.... I'm going with the feed chart vegbloom posted on ig but in veg I'm 1/2 or 3/4 tsp per gal n bump it up little by little... Here's a pic after adding calmag

^ Yes. We run VB + that at work and it works stellar.

The feed chart we got from the,

4.5 for veg
5 - week 1
5.5 - week 2 till flush
2.5 flush first 5 days then plain water

This is w/ life & shine also.
