Have to rock a scrog due to my height requirements but i have fallen in love with the technique.

I understand alot of scrogging (just like alot of everything MJ) is dependant on the grower knowing their specific plants.

One thing i have found works great is to suspend my scrog net from the ceiling. Using a 4 x 8 table and i have built a 4.x 8 frame which holds this lovely piece of webbing. I can let the girls go 12" or drop it down to 9".

Been considering only keeping the girls down into the scrog for the first week of flower and then switching to the HPS. Also considering moving the lollyoppin' to the last week of veg.

Last time i hung the net at 10", thinking of letting it go to a full 12".

Would love to hear tips from other scroggers as to what you use? Strains you like?

Currently rocking Barneys Farm LSD (Skunk #1 x Afgani)

Scrog LIFEEEE. I like your hanging scrog frame idea, works well if you wanted adjust the height at any time. I like smaller squares rather than the 4"x4" squares.

I don't like stretchy strains, I don't lollipop as well until the last week's before flip. I don't have too much experience with many strains but I'm using bogglegum, tangerine. I like the boggle better for the scrog . It has tighter node spacing and the stems are easier to pinch over. The tangerine stretches more and the stems are tough as fk to bent.

when you flip, do you keep putting the branches under the netting? Do you hang on the MH light into 12/12 cycle? Do you remove any fan leaves on top to each the lower buds above the scrog net?

another reason why i love the flexible webbing as its easy to move plants around in the squares, you can move the webbing and not handle the plants as much.. i.e you want cola in square x, you can do that easily. I have see a lot of vidoes where people are using very rigid steel (i.e welded wire fencing) for their nets.

Depending on how full the netting is and space available height wise . I like to have my plants sticking about 6-1 inches above the scrog net when fully stretched in flower. It's all about canopy and light penetration. I lollipop and I take off fan leaves or any nodes that waste my girls bud energy.

Wish I could scrog. I veg and flower in seperate rooms, and I run between 5 and 12 different strains. Only 1 is a short, not really stretch girl. All others stretch quite a bit. I do have a 5x15' net hanging on my wall teasing me.everytime I go in my grow room.

I veg with t5's. Before I flip I lollipop very well and take off all the fan leaves. I know they are going to stretch a good foot after flip so I tend to have all my branches under the netting before flip.

I use 4x 4' 4 bulb t8, plus 3x 600mh in veg. Most time 2 hoods are only at 75% to controll growth vs my shorty strain. Last week it's 100% all around. Then flower room is 2600 hps in 3 hoods. I use more stakes to support my plants, than lowes has in Stock on a average day. About 10-15 per pot. Might have a try at it next flip, if it doesn't work I'll be in trouble cutting the net and trying to stake my pots.

Well I like to keep some fan leaves on for photosynthesis mainly around the Colas. I just take them and bendo them down under the netting or tie the leaves together with themselfs allowing light to penetrate. Good pic my brotherman

I wanna offer you a small tip and you will definitely see a difference. Buy some emergency blankets on amazon and make 4 pvc poles as high as the light. Use the blanket to act like a reflector but only ONLY cover 3 sides allowing for the fan to blow on the plants and circulate the air. And allow hot air to escape. You will use that light to its full potential

Same with my room. They are within 6 inches. But I added that and it made a world of difference. No problem bud. Just trying to help a brother

I have some scrogging going on, first grow using the technique. It's a 5x4 screen over three bushy white widows under a bank of T5s. Tomorrow will be exactly 8 weeks since I planted the seeds. The screen is about 75% full and I expect to move them to a 1000w HPS in a few days. But man these girls are so bushy, I am always pushing fan leaves down under the mesh so as to expose the future bud sites. I'm seeing conflicting opinions on whether or not to remove some of the fan leaves to allow better light penetration. So far I'm only taking off fan leaves if they break while I'm moving branches or if they're yellowed and pull off easily. Not a lot of those. I'm looking for thoughts on that. I have also started wondering just how organized the bud sites need to be in the screen. I figure ideally there would be one bud coming up per square. Or the buds that come up should be equally distant from each other. I know experience is the big thing so for now I'm just looking for as much to read on scrogging as possible, the more detail the better.
