finally got my unit dialed in 100% success rates. I found -

using gel inhibits rooting activity with this particular system.

avoiding slime build up in the reservoir is key.

but most important, setting the water level to right at the tips.

100% success, 9 days with monstercropped clones, 2" long root bundles.

peace

6 days this run. didnt even change rez

I place my 3/4 aero cloners directly on my basement floor, no heater (works crappy with heater). Plain Tap, ph to 6.1, change every 10 days. After 10 days then I add rapid start to the tap 6.1ph.
99.999% clone rate. No slime, no root rot.

yea agreed. i ditched all heat. definitely not useful after killing several rounds of clones experimenting. I learn the hard way.

Sounds good man, I'm thinking of making a diy cloner myself

Found a new cloning liquid, dip n grow. 3 days after taking cuts I have nubs, on 5 different strains. By day 8 I have a small decent root ball, day 10 I pot. Going on 6 rums, all same resukts. Dip n grow can do 1000 cuttings for 10.95. I do a 20% dilution, and soak for 5 mins. I've tried about 8 cloning gels/solutions over the past 4 yrs, this one hands down is the best and cheapest.

So far I just use water in my bubble cloner.

Out of 5 clones they all rooted. But one died during transplant from not letting the roots get big enough.

in a bubble cloner i find repeated applications of powder works best for me, plus b1 and life cloning solution

At first when i switched to ez cloners i only used Clonex in the water, no dipping the cuts in root gel/sealer and still was amazed with how easy these things are and how much faster your cuttings root compared to say rapid rooters and a dome. This clone shown here took i think about 10 days to look like this
