I'm in the final stages of completing a Kimbo Kush pheno hunt, currently four weeks into flower. Thought I'd share some photos for comparison purposes, to anyone interested in, or currently growing this strain. Out of 11 seeds all germinated. 2 were runts. #2 was a mutant of sorts. #5 #6 #7 #8 were males, leaving my Kimbo #1 #3 #4 and #9 for flower. I grow in soil using biologically active organic soil methods as well as hydroponics.

Looking good! I did a pheno hunt last year with KK. While they were all fantastic plants, nothing out of the 8 girls we had was stellar. The colours impressed smokers and the resin on the live plant impressed less seasoned growers, but the smoke was unimpressive. May be a great strain to grow where smell should be kepy low or used to bring resin into a breeding program. We popped 4 packs and only had the 8 femals who made the cut to flower. The better smoking phenotypes seem to be the greener, shorter ones. The colorful ones taste interesting(not into wine taste personally) but not personally appealing. We did find a single male that had great resin and structure we used to tame a few whacky moms a few years back.

Good luck, I hope you find something you love! Cheers!

If you are into hash, make some bubble/co2/drysift off of these ladies, some of the best conventional hash I have had in a decade. Looking very good!

Nice. I've dried some suckers that I trimmed off and vapped a bit of it, the flavor and affects were very nice, seems like a high quality strain. I only have GSC Platinum to compare it too, as that's all I have really grown and used in the past. I have one pheno showing dark colors in the flower structure, it has a sweet berry smell.

maybe higher your humidity an lower the temps a bit.
that should stop the leaf edges curling up and drying out. It will also boost your yield. ( if kept below 25.c)

Nice eye. I've decided to except the leaf curl for now. I grow under a 1000w gavita. I have a fan blowing directly under the light to dissipate heat, which also blows on the taller flowers, adding to the dryness.

Cool. I checked out your thread and noticed you've got Cookies n' Cream. It'll be interesting to see how those grow as I picked up a pack along with the Kimbo.

Ya the cookies and cream were the first ones I popped I'm about 3.5 weeks into its growth from germination.. I'm hoping to find a good male to breed my OGKB 2.0 with and make a killer cookie cross

That would be a nice combo. I have a Sunset Sherbert I put some Kimbo pollen on, should be interesting.

Those are nugging up nicely.. what kinda of scents and aromas are you getting off it?

They smell amazing! Fruity, lemon, pine, musty fuel scents. I have my GSC platinum growing in there as well, which is majorly fragrant.
