So, I'm growing mixed spectrum. x2 630 LEC and x2 ac 1000w HPS. I've noticed that the plants under the lec aren't yellowing towards the end (Week 8) like the ones under the HID. Anyone else notice this or just this stoner. Same strains/Nutes/airflow

I noticed it in my buddies grow. I have an alien strain that turns just about black towards the end but the clones I gave him that were under his 315 s stayed dark green all the way through while same plants under Hps darkened right up.

Ive been looking hard at LEC. Do you have any pics to post. Remember the old adage, pics or it didnt happen. LOL

All BS aside would be nice to see a grow that used the lec tech.

Yes, before you ask, there are knats. and no I don't pull leaves off the plant. I believe in trying to simulate nature and just let them fall.
Top pix is Harlox under 630LEC, They grew a little taller than i expected.
Bottom pix is harlox under ac 1000watt horti, theres some wind burn but more of these leaves are yellowing compared to the others. about a week or so left to harvest

They both look good, some yellow/dead leaves on both, my guess is the 1k hps has a high heat out put and the plant is just reacting to that. more transpiring, more heat on leaves, using up more nutes, using more CO2.
No problem with either... so no worries.
As waiting for nature to remove your leaves...aint never gonna happen indoors. outside there's rain and gust of wind...indoors nada...
You should remove any sickly or dead leaves, allows better light penetration and air flow.
I prefer the yellowing, it shows that the plant has used up available nutes and has to leach it from the leaves, ensuring a cleaner smoke.
All in all...good girls...lol

Hmmm, I seem to be able to mimic "autumning off" in my I door grow every run. I'm an indoor grower with hps lighting.

Looking good, that's what I'm talking about, plants ripening up, leaves yellowing... but me would get rid of a lot of the dead yellow, just my preference that's all.
Everything I've grown has finished like this...lov it lov it!

Those are NOT dead yellow leaves. They are perfectly alive. The plant is/has consumed all its stored nutes and is consuming itself the last 2 weeks of flower. Pic was taken at day 69 from flip. Harvest day. I never flush plants, toilets only. Last 2 weeks is water only as needed. Then cure. Absolutely perfect results every time

Thanks

The leaves that are yellow (that I'm referring to being dead) are the ones that are dried up and crispy...If you don't think you have any, then you best look again. they do get to a point when yellowing that they are no longer any help, so its best to remove them to allow more light penetration and air flow.
Those yellow leaves are NOT "perfectly" alive...they are on their way to being dried up leaves... That's all I'm saying.
I know how plants finish when they use up their nutrients. Relax... I'm not dissin your grow...It looks awesome.

There is not one single dried up, dead, crispy, leaf on any of my plants. A few of the lower fans that the plant deemed unneeded are dead and waiting to fall off. Again, it's days 69 from flip, harvest day. The entire fans could be orange for all I care at this point in the plants life.

But thanks again

I gave you props on your grow, just mentioned a bit about dead leaves...( which by the way you do have a couple on there).
But you insist there is not one single dried up leaf...your right i see two.
Which is it? You don't have a single dried up leaf... or a few of the lower fans are dead and waiting to fall off...???

And why you reply so off key to my post? You trolling for conflict?
