With this new led ivm getting the tightest plants ive ever grown. These ones in small pots should explode after being transplanted
That's exactly what I've seen with mine as well! After I got them in the smart pots they have just taken off with those LEDs. How many of them do you have Katelyn? Could I see how you have you're entire set up?

Crappy phone pic...Just missing my ventilation but staying at 81 degrees with lights on and fairly dry. Nice cirrculation though...gotta make some stilts for my pots tonight.. A ? Anyone.....how do you guys get rid of your run off after watering in soil? Repotted last night..

Are the two boxes to the left and right of the white LED box also LEDs?

LEDs are the future boys. Initial investment is brutal though but the heat free and reduce electrical by a lot.
I'm running 6 1000w (210w pulling from wall) in an 8x8 tent and my temp never goes over 80 no ac just fans and out take fan. This is my first grow with LEDs so I have no yields to report but I have never seen bushier healthy plants they love the LEDs.

The girls are 8 days into flower from switching to 12 12... Great results so far..running 1 1000w light pulling the same wattage as you roughly.

I do it the slow and pain in the ass way, take the plants out one at a time and empty the drain tray into a bucket, wipe out the tray and put them back. Def, a pain. But I've seen other people use shop vacs to suck the run off out, which would be much quicker, but on the noisey side if that's an issue.

I would zip tie that power strip to the tent pole incase you have a spill.
Excellent advice, which I had to learn the hard way when I spilled water all over the power strip. Everything blew out. But oddly.. after a little time... everything has been fine. The socket it was plugged into I had to wait about 2 days before it would go back on. It has a built in tripper of some sort.

How far up do you guy's place your LEDs from the plants? I have some 36" away and some at 42" and the plants closer to the lights are much bushier.
Also can I get and idea of yields on LEDs Watts to grams? Is it watts from the wall pull or watts out put. If it's from the wall total watts are around 1200. And light out put 6000w.
Thanks for any input all knowledge is welcome.

Yes thats true, and I disagree with removing the fan leaves, but from what I have read and seen first hand the leaves blocking bud sites have to be removed for the lower buds to do anything at all. I have only been using LED's about 6 months myself, still lots to learn. But penertration is poor with LED's if anything is blocking the light. I remove as few as possible.

I could be wrong on this, it's only what I've read/heard but here we go...

Supposedly fan leaves are more critical on outdoor grows, as they are positioned all around the plant. This is important because the sun moves throughout the day, meaning some areas of the plant will receive less direct light than others at any given time. It is to my understanding that having as many fan leaves indoors is not as crucial as you can position multiple lights around the room ensuring that the plant gets light from 360 degrees. It is often recommended by some growers to remove fan leaves that are blocking lower bud sites, as artificial lighting cannot penetrate very deep into the canopy, which is not a problem with the sun. I do remove fan leaves from my indoor plants and never had issues, but this is just my personal experience. Please do your own research on this,I think you'll find some interesting views...

18 inches away until late flower then raise them up a few feet or as far as you can.
