So I run 600hps. Now, I used a 1000 in the past. My favorite but because of broken ballast I'm left with a 600 this run.. so I tossed in my 400mh, just to get more light. I'm about 5 weeks into bud. Now does anyone have any experience with this being a problem? Pic of my veg room I changed when I robbed the 400 mh from it.

Not a problem at all. Your plants will love the extra light.

Definitely will be fine i am a big advocate of using a hps/mh blend in flower. My best results have been 75% hps 25% mh. What your doing will work great my best yields and quality have come from mixing hps/mh.
