what's up farm,

I want to share a method of mixing and using nutrients I was given about 8 months ago and have had huge success with not only growth and production but also cutting my nute cost down by atleast 40%. I'll start out with what I use

1 55 gallon Rez with float valve
Small boy RO system
Emerald harvest nutrients
8 inch air stone

Every Monday I mix my nutrients for the entire week. Depending on what week I'm in I'll increase different nutes (totally up to grower) but the batch beginning Monday is between 900-1100 PPM again depending on what week of flower your in and how aggressive you want to feed them.

So we will start out with 1000 ppm Ph 5.9

I feed the plants heavy Monday with a higher Ppm @ 1000ppm and use about 20 gallons of water. I kick my float valve on and let the Rez refill.

When I return wed my PPM is now around 680-720 and I feed my plants with this solution.
(Always keep air stone going and never let the water become stagnant)

The Rez refills back up to 55 gallons.

Saturday when I feed again my ppms are between 400-510

Below 500 PPm your essentially flushing your root mass. So on this particular feeding day when the solution is below 500 ppm I use let's say 35 gallons.

Now when I come back Monday to mix my nutrient solution I pick and choose out of my lineup what I'm increasing and what I'm decreasing for the week.

Saves time, saves money .
