Ok here's a update on the defol plant and the no defol plant . All I can say is they both seem to be productive and the buds seem to be same size time will tell in 3 weeks or so .

Did some defol last night! I believe it helps get light to the buds underneath and helps with airflow to the soil. I think you just need to keep the plant super healthy and not stressed in any other way while doing a heavy defoliation because the plant won't have much reserve nutes in leaves to help deal with normal imbalances if it had all the leaves..just what I've been think no science just thoughts.
