Whats going down everyone. Working on a fun lil closet grow, mind you I'm not a professional and willing to admit when I'm wrong, learn from my mistakes and learn from critisicm. I plan on posting once a week, unless something of concern happens or I just feel as necessary. I am taking myself out of my comfort zone and will be,have been, trying different things to improve .Thanks for looking and please share any thoughts/concerns.

Somehow all of my early images of this show are not being found on my hero 3 go figure. So I will still give a quick rundown. If I recover them I will post. Germinated in moist paper towel in zip lock bag not completely closed in 75 F. All 10 popped within 48 hrs. I then planted into solo cups filled with sunshine advanced mix 4.
Maintained temp of between 70 and 80 F. Took a minute to get temps and humidity perfected at this point. Took a few days. Wet sponges and a small humidifier was added to keep humidity as close to 60 %. The ballast has been at 50% up to this point and they had recieved 24 lighting. Exactly 3 weeks from germination, plants started 3rd set of leaves we decided to transplant into 3 gallon pots. I feel as if i may regret pots of this size due to limited space. I plan on culling out 3 of the saddest girls before flip. Did a 50 50 mix with the coco loco and ocean forest with a few scoops of the sunshine advanced mix just because. A few girls seem to have some minor light burn.

Strain: Purple Goats
Type: FEM
QTY: 10
Watts: 600 MH Veg 600 HPS Flow
Medium: 1/2 coco loco 1/2 ocean forest
Pot Sizes: Solo Cups to 3 Gallon smart pots
Nutes: NONE as of yet
Temp: 75 F- 80F
Cam: GoPro HERO3

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to be taking 3 of the saddest looking girls out for space. I'm thinking about putting a large tote top underneath them if I can find the right size. Any other ideas for trays?

Any Rubbermaid low plastic container will work. You can drill a hole for drainage, just slope everything right.

Friends.
It has only been a few days although ill keep updating as things change. Why not. So ultimately will only have 6 plants in this tent. Removing 4 of the weakest links. 2 of the weakest toads have been removed and ill be transporting them to my "swamp". I added rubbermaid plastic plant trays for each individual smart pot totaling 6. As you can see, 2 girls are resting in the spaces left in between. Eventually only 6 will prevail. At this time I also finished packing in as much more soil in the pots as possible while turning the ballast to 75% of 600W.

As of 1/21 all toads were given their fist dose of nutrients. I dosed at recommended strength for seedlings to get them adapted. FF Grow Big, FF Big Bloom, Great white premium mycorrhizae, Cal Mag Plus for now.

Lets see, also added another small fan for circulation, last but not least bumped to 20 light dark 4. Going to eventually get down to 18-6 although trying slowly work our way down.

I plan on topping these babies in about 5-7 days depending on how they are looking and if they start to really reach for that light.

I truly appreciate feedback of any kind. Mind you this is my first grow diary. Let me know if I should add/remove any information. Im working on improving image quality as well. Putting the 3 year old go pro to work wasn't as easy as i suspected lol. L8r Sk8rs

I included a pic of the 2 I decided to remove as well.

Whats going down everyone? Hope all is well. Been slacking on keeping pics updated but that doesn't mean I haven't been keeping up to date with this grow.
Since the last post on 1/22. All of the girls have been topped, lightly defoliated. These indica leaves are so huge and taking up quite a bit of space Im just weary of hacking up some of the most important bigger ones. Nutrients have been kept at seedling strength twice a week although as root structure has built they have been getting more feed.
Temps have pretty stable right around 80 F and humidity hasn't gone below 40% stays around 62%.

I have also added trellis netting in fear that vertical growth is going to be a problem for us in this small tent. Using it to control vertical growth as much as possible at this point. Netting is 8 Inches above soil.

Hope all is well

Yo yo. Canopy is filling out nicely at this point going to flip in a few short days. Not much has changed since the last post other than some training and Minor deleafing. Vertical space is our biggest worry although I'm hoping these heavy indicas will stay short and squaty.

Nutrients have been bumped up to recommended dosages as well with the addition of a few new FF products.

Hey hey. What's up farmers been slacking a little bit on keeping the diary updated, been working on a cool project, but better late than never.

Since the last post I have changed to 600 hps and 12/12 . The girls are into their second week of 12/12. Feeding has been regular at twice per week tues and sat. All fox farm nutes with the addition of mammoth p. Also added a 6 inch incline to the setup that blows unwanted hot air outside. Fan controller helps keep temp between 72-75f. Had to add a small heater fan that turns on in the dark to keep temps stable in the tent. Super cold out, without it temps would be at 50f during dark which is only a invitation for headaches.

Instead of making 2 posts I'll post pics from a week or so ago as well here. Thanks for looking as always.

Yo yo farmers . Been in the process of a move and some other fun stuff.

Since the last post there was an issue of a improperly working timer, a few power outages and headaches later it was all fixed. Although ,this set back the grow sometime and allowed the plants too stretch out of control. Ultimately they out grew the space and had to sacrifice a lot of plant material as well.Had to swap hoods as well ,as heat quickly became an issue. Fun fun :)
I am going to say that these are at about 38 days, the early disruption at the first week and a half of flower caused some issues not giving up quite yet though.

So finally harvested these 8 girls. What a fun grow. Few different phenos in the batch some nice purples. All have a berry smell with a hint of sweet kerosene if that makes sense. Learned a lot from this little grow can't wait to get a new project going. They are currently hanging at 48% rh 72 F . Been a few days planning for atleast a 10 day hang .
