not sure if this is where to post this topic
But we had a half hour long thunder storm with a crap ton of wind and I went out about an hour after it passed to check on my plants and the middle of my plant was snapped and laying over on the pot. I have taped it up and it's splinted but that middle which is right off the main seems dead and the rest of the plant is still thriving. What to do is where I'm going with this??

Any certain spot I should be cutting it? It's broken pretty close to the soil. This is my first grow so I've been trying to not screw things up.

I wud however take that dead branch off so it isnt sucking nutes trying to recover..will take away from side branches which r healthy.nice looking plants brother
I agree that branch is dead and will only steal energy trying to survive. Cut it off but not down past where it broke. Just above it is good. And faraway is right the rest will take off. Won't happen overnight but just wait you'll see.

If it was broken below the other branches they'd be dying too. Like I said cut above the other branching but low on the dead branch.

Yup. I had a hurricane come years back and broke my main stalk on one I had in back yard. I removed it n 3 other stalls stepped up. It looked like a cactus when done 3 solid colas all about same height.

And do it carefully not to stress the split any more than it is already.

i cut it like 3" above that tape so its got something to hold on to
That should be good. Not a clean sharp cut right. A clean cut like a razor or similar will bleed but either way I think you'll be ok. There's enough plant there to recoup.

It dnt matter if it bleeds.it will scab over.yur good brother.again plants look healthy.and yur main staulk is beefy enough that this cud possibly do more good then harm believe it or not.good luck.post some updates n a wk or so it shud b healed by then
