hey y'all!

So, I want to extend the season a bit this year.

Can I "interrupt" the dark period of my babies with spot lights for a while each night to stop it from flowering? If yes, when do I begin with spot lights? (916 area code)

Extending the season you say? Perhaps you would also like to borrow my rope stretcher and use my time machine....silly human....I never let anyone do THAT.....

If you do, do not add more than 15 minutes onto the light period a week, i've done it and ended up with a big ole plant. Not impossible, just put it on a timer for 15 minutes extra at sun down. If december isnt too cold go for it.

Start now not later, dont do it at all if they are flowering already or you will end up without a harvest at all

Light deprivation greenhouse. These have been around a while and some have lights in them basically making it indoor with less power. So this could work.

Thanks y'all! They have not begun the death process yet, and I got a small patch set aside to experiment on.

Like actual sundown here is 845 pm or so but the light is weak by then...and I have noticed some plants begin the nighttime leaf slack before this time.

They get direct light from 9am to the setting of the sun.

Absolem! Haaaahahah my first day on the job doing construction, buddy told me to go get the rope stretcher from truck and me being new I one couldn't ask what it looked like...so I legit looked for it till he came got me laughing his ass off...and yes, wrong choice of words. Can't extend the season but would like to prolong the death process by a week or two

No flowering yet...well no bud set yet...this my first year in Cali and don't know the timing of things yet

Well I had planned on doing the same thing but my plant went into budding the next day, so now i got an 8 weeker finishing while it is still hot :0
