sorry for being short......snap them off at the stem......as in all the way next to the main stock

anything that dosnt look good you can always pop off.....plants will regenerate

No problem haha,
Understood, I will do that when I get the chance :)

Since starting the new feeding routine and upping my nute useage a few days ago I have already noticed a massive improvement. The leaves are now fanning outwards, the stems don't feel as weak and soft, I am seeing a slowing in the brownish yellow spotting on the leaves and it generally looks a lot greener in the leaves! :) very pleased, the advice is appreciated greatly :) for some strange reason the stems seem to be turning from purple to green though, not sure if that means anything significant is happening O.o

I have noticed the leaves almost 'cupping' upwards though, is this not a sign of another def? It's not a major cupping, but they are looking different to what I see online...

so what is happening with the stems is you werent getting enough P which is what causes purpling
the leaf cupping is the plant dealing with a drastic change albiet in a good direction.....if the leaf cups all the way like a taco that means the plant isnt able to transpire (release moisture and o2)
but it will adapt quickly
if you mean the serrated edges of the leaves are starting to peal back and point up
in my experience means they are now riding the maximum level of life
which is a good thing

I will post a pic and you tell me if the picture represents the leaves cupping...

I took some of the more dead/dying leaves off too at the bottom of the plant since they were both starting to go yellow all over even though the spots have almost stopped.

Notice the largest leaves towards the top of the plant are kinda making a slight 'V' shape? This is what I was on about, I'm not seeing it on any photo's around :S

no.....nothing wrong.....your plant looks perfect in the growth and stance of the structure of the leaves
if anything maybe back that bulb up away from the plant ....maybe double the distance that it is right now....
other than that......perfect

although you do need to take ALL those shitty leaves off.....no need for the plant to focus any energy on dieing leaves

Brilliant! :D
I think I must just be a little bit paranoid ;)

I will do, mate. I only adjusted them this morning when I turned the lights on, that right there is enough proof for me that your feed routine and style works a charm, and you obviously know your stuff.

Many thanks for your help and advice

Do you mean pull them all off that have the spots on or just the crappy ones? I've noticed some healthy looking ones on the same part as a cruddy one in some places :S

absolutely
I am one who only gives advice for the advancement of this community
I would never give advice that hasnt been tried and true.......never conjecture or anecdotal......
all advice is based from my own growing experience.......much by trial and error of my self and others in my life

you can always count on me to help you out in my knowledge or steer you to someone more knowledgable in the department of questioning that you seek

you will find many that will give advice freely.....on subjects that may know nothing about.......

grow prosperously!!!

yes like those few lowers that look really bad but still have some green.....just take them off......the upper leaf with some tiny spotting....leave that as it is still working for the plant....but the lower ones have use no more

Will do, I've always been one to shy away from destorying leaves as I've always been taught to preserve them as much as possible, but in this case even I was wondering if they were of much use anymore... I will remove them right away! :)

WOW..What great information....I am growing in Coco and following a schedule.....but have one plant that looks like it has N Toxicity.....These are 13 days old....this is the only one that looks like this...I am following this schedule...(posted below)

Flushed yesterday with pH'd water (6.0) and going to wait another day to water...or is there something else I should be doing?

2x4x5 Matrix Tent
250w HPS
6" CanMax exhausted to outside
2 - 6" circulation fans

They are getting plenty of fresh air....78 Degrees in 51% Humidity..

Your Opinions matter....Thank You
