Update On Salmon River Og

Here is an update on my salmon river og. Planted october 8th just put them in bigger pots. Towards end of week im going to top them. And any reason the plants not growing taller ? Any suggestions or advice so far.? Thanks!

I'd drop those lights about a foot, but that's just me. Happy Growing

But would that make them not grow as tall?

Your lights are keeping them short and chubby.

Less stretch when you keep your lights low, they will get plenty tall when you flower. You want to keep your spacing nice and tight IMO.

What lights are you using, and what Kelvin?

Lower your lights a lot. There should be about 2' max canopy distance, depending on heat. Are those t5 or t8 lights? I keep my veg plants a max of 2' with my cmh bulbs, and 1.5-2' in flower with cmh bulbs.

Swap out the blue tarp for a white one. It will help reflect light better. Paint walls flat white mold and mildew resistant paint. Is do it now before flower and you have a mold issue, if you have a problem later on down the road. Even lining the floor and walls with panda film would be a huge upgrade as far as light reflection.

They are t5 lights, and thanks for the info. May get some panda film. But putting the lights closer would it make them not grow as tall?

there going to grow tall anyways. You don't want your nodes all crazy spaced out. Like I said they will double in size once you flip to flower. It's all about structure and the most even canopy you can make.
