Weekly update.

I think all my issues have been based around a ph issue. I found my resi was climbing in ph, so now I just check it daily. Pain in the ass, but it is what it is. 6.0 seems to be the magic number for now.

Pity I don't know what auto was sent ( right ), because it is actually kicking ass. And with the help given on the matter from both seedbank & Supposed breeder, I am not sure what to do.

Popped some new Auto seeds. I am really looking forward to watching these.

Hey Monster762,

Sorry for the late reply, been busy as hell lately.

It's been good and bad lately. Still having real issues with the photo plant. I for the life of me cannot work it out, tried everything I can think of and it's just not playing ball.

I pulled the first auto, I think it was a little bit early, but I didn't have a loupe to check and by the time it eventually arrived it was already done. Only expecting a little bit, but it is what it is, and will tie me over for a while. I actually don't mind auto's to be honest. Don't need a great deal of nutes and is pretty easy going. Was a good learning curve on reading where a plant is and I already ordered some more from a well known bank. Still, not bad for a first, and a free seed at that.

The fan isn't directly on it, it is pointed below it. That's still pretty fresh, so it's going to shrink down to next to nothing.

The seeds I bought from Haze.io I don't think are what I actually ordered. I only say that because I didn't order any auto's from them, yet this one has already turned on it's own. It looks great, especially for an auto, don't get me wrong, but quite disappointing to be sent something random, I wouldn't have put it in a 95l pot for starters and would have done the nutrients a bit different. I'm not even sure if bomb seeds do a gorilla in the auto. But I treated this as a normal, so it's pissed me off a tad.

here is the difference between the 2. They went in on the same day, and I for the life of me cannot get the one on the left to spring up. I have read that the Blueberry ( if that is in fact what it is ) is a slow grower, but I did expect a bit more than where it is.

I read people have issues with to much stretch, where I'm trying whatever I can to encourage it.

Tried running the cobs at 35w,40w,50w,and 60w. Tried different heights of the lights, tried feeding more, tried feeding less. Tried cooler, warmer. It's got me stuffed. That's at 3 weeks since being put in the pots.

I might also be comparing apples to lemons. Watching the one on the right grow so rapidly and being an auto, I might be expecting to much.

Next time I pop seeds, which will be soon hopefully, I am going to try them straight under the cobs on the floor and slowly raise them rather than under cfl's. I want to see if it reduces the issues I have had going from one to the other. Seeing as that is the 3rd photo plant that I have run into issues with doing it the other way. But if the one on the left does eventually decide to wake up it will be nice though.

Other thing I will be doing is spending the extra money and going to a seedbank that has a fairly good reputation and hopefully get sent the stuff that takes me hours trying to decide on

Well, that's where it's at,

Happy farming,

Be happy you got the indica dom blueberry pheno. Had you gotten the sativa dom it would have stretched on you terribly and given you airy buds. She's not gonna get much bigger that double the size after flip. She stacks late so don't be surprised if she stays small up until week 6. I love the resin production too, she's literally caking it right now in my bloom room

That may not be an auto. Plants have preflowers after a while that signal full maturity and it's ready to flower. Pretty much all them will do this, males too. Autos don't get that big either unless it's the smoothest most easiest grow for that seed. They stunt with too much wind. I would say you have a good photo plant. I would do yourself a favor and who ever else you have trim with you and remove all the bull shit bud sites from below. If it's not 18 from the most top bud site remove it and clean it up. I would go ahead and remove a grip of fan leaves too. Clean up the main stems and you will have some nice big colas and very little if any larf

I've never had a plant that is so compact, I have in the past (very long time ago) only ever grown from clone, and always done them until I am happy with size and then flipped. It's definately going to be interesting when I flip the cycle. I'm going to give it another couple of weeks to see if I have it worked out and see what happens.

I'm not too sure Leew421. I am definitely not disagreeing with you, but the other seed I popped that I gave a mate is no where near the size because it is outdoors has done the same thing. How confusing. These are still basically on a 18/6 cycle and look like this. One thing you are bang on the mark without question is, this has been a really smooth, rapid grow and the thing is crazy.

I've never cleaned up the bottom before and I'm a little worried I'll over do it. I know it has to be done though and am going to do it sooner rather than later.

What size pots are those ?

95l / 25 gallon.

The last Auto I did was in a really small pot, it yielded about 3 1/2 ounces dry weight. Considering the amount of nutes it took and was a freebie at that I'm pretty pleased. The next Auto's I do, I'll be putting in a larger pot to see if it makes a difference.

Bud shot from the last Auto that's been put in jars.

Just work in sections over a period of a week

I did "try" and give it a clean up just before. Anything that was under the net and would struggle to get anywhere got chopped out, it cleared out some of the mess, but still doesn't look like I touched it. Although the pic makes it look like a complete mess and dense, it is pretty open and light penetrates pretty well. I also noticed that some of the branches that start way down low are peaking at the top too, so they have stretched quite a lot. But you are right, clearing out that crap at the bottom will make it a tonne easier later, I hate dealing with the spindly crap down low.

Anyone who tells you to lollipop the bottom is completely right brotha, You're wasting your time with material that can't get any light access. I trim from bottom up and use my hand as a guide line to see where the light penetrates. I'm in a different situation than you because I use mars hydro 300 watt led so my penetration is really only about 1 to 2 feet, which isn't really that much, so lollipopping is crucial if I'm trying to aim for big yields. I will say that's a massive plant and it looks super strong, but there is a ton of wasted plant material there when you're focus of energy can be brought to the top of your buds by trimming! But like everyone says, it's your grow! Nice plant man it's huge!!!

Hey Guys,

So here is where it's at. The blueberry has taken off after the flip, looks great and starting to stretch out a little which is good.

I tried to clean the other one up a little, still doesn't look like it's where it should be though.

I do have a question though.

the start of the flowers have a ton of white pistils but no guts at all, and some of them are turning brown. I have never had to deal with this before but does anyone know if this is the start of a hermie?

If it is, what do I do? is it worth it to continue?

The bottom pic is shooting brown hairs straight out of what looks like balls. Is also a good example of what I mean by heaps of white hairs but no guts.
