1982 my friend was a college student at Cal
For many years we went to the big games at both Stanford and Cal.
We were regular's at all Stanford home games, north in zone Plunkett, Elway all the greats.
Could bring in coolers full of beer and smoke as much as you wanted..
On this day we ran down to his frat house and did rails and guzzled away. At Cal no beer policy really enforced.
We were in the end in zone next to Stanford band when all this broke loose..

Was 7 years old when I saw this on our Hoffman black and white TV...

Thinking about all the amazing events I’ve seen, this would be one. Begining with the wall coming down between East and West Berlin.

Once saw the sunrise after a full night on top of one of the great pyramids Egypt..
We were tripping balls on orange sunshine full moon that night
I ran off from guards and left my friend to deal with it. I came back to find him in custody, they were hollering and carrying on.
My friend spoke fluent Arabic and they made the whole thing up as a joke to scare the crap out of me.
I produced a 20 dollar bill and they vanished laughing asses off..

I would venture to say we may never again see the likes of the 80's 49ers and the chemistry that team had. Watching the niners play was like watching a surgically executed ballet. Long live Joe Montana , Jerry Rice, Ronnie Lott, Dwight Clark,Bubba Paris, Roger Craig and the rest of one of the all time best teams to ever hit the turf!!!
