No I'm too scared of that disease. I'm pretty sure I tried milk on my weed plants back in the day. Nothing worked. I spent a couple hundred bucks on different stuff and finally gave up.
tell you what,i was leary of this new method of growing gt21 turned me on too,but sure enough it is working,no ac or heat,400 cfm intake fan filter combo,400 cfm fan filter combo exhaust,in a utility room in a 2x4x7 tent, forced air,no shit, there is so much air constantly moving in there even bugs couldnt hold on to the plants, lmao

Nice. Someone was telling me the other day that the 315 cmh light I'm using repels some bugs. Said they don't like the high UV. Don't know if it's true.

me either, this i do know that repell bugs, earth worm casting top of soil,i found out by mistake,i take solo cups be it veggies or weed,i have these 3ft long by 2ft wide 4in deep clear totes i put them in,this is middle of summer too now,but i started a mess of veggies for fall garden and some herb for christmas, lol, had 30 something of them, only place i got to do this is outside,so i plant all my seeds, and im using compost and other amends for the soil, anyway, first time you water um in here come the knats,i mean they aint even broke ground yet,and the damn flys, shit there bad here with humidity, but i had them out there about a week had several pop the ground and setting leaves,so many knats fronm the compost couldnt even hardly sit out there to smoke my weed, but kelp4less sent me a email of a special run they were having, long story short,i got 100lbs of earth worm casting for 70 bucks,i use the shit out of it,well i decided to top dress my weed plants for the nitrogen,im talking instintly them knat were gone,im like shit,so i top dress all the cups, just enough to were all you see is casting in the cup, didnt only run them off the plants, but the flys disapeared too,did same shit when i transplanted into garden, just a little around each plant,i have cut them bug problems to at least all the crawler gone, them damn grass hoppers though they tough,,since finding this out,im really waiting for spring to see if this will solve my problem with these damn squash boer worms, they have wiped me out 2 yearsin a row now

Hell yeah I'll have to get me some of that for next summer. The caterpillars were my biggest problem this summer. Had to stay on top of it or they would've eaten everything. I would sit out there next to the plants scouting for them. They only ruined a few buds but my friend let them get out of hand then had to harvest early.

I think I'm going to try some mosquito netting next year. My area is already enclosed on the sides all I would have to do is the top 8 feet by 8 feet.

crushed to powder egg shells bro, take a 10 in long piece of 1/4 copper tubing bend it around in a circle around your plant, fill in on top of soil with crushed shells, kills the shit out of grubs and slugs, the copper gets um first then the shells tear um to pieces never make it to plant,i bet this would do the same for pillars,i got them all, most are great for killing the other, but when you get a chance, look up squashvine boer worm, there relentless, starts as a wasp the size of a horse fly, they do not land at all, they sting at ground base the stem of your squash plant and fly off, after the incert the larvae and soon as it is incerted it starts eating,it leaves dung that looks like fish eggs,in a pile were it at,just keeps boering threw the inside of stalk till it evolves to a wasp, they get huge, you can take a small piece of wire and go inside hole and dig um out,but by the time you notice there there it too late, leaves get huge on squash and if you dont look daily the only way you know you got um is the leaves will wilt during heat of day,at sunrise and sunset the leaves pray to the sun, soon as that sun comes on them, they look like leaves of tobacco ready to harvest,i really want to try the ewc this year and see if i can keep them at bay at least some of them, hahah

I'll try the eggshells for sure. The ones that fall off the plant will be toast lol. I think the moths lay the eggs on the plant though so I'm not sure if it will help much. Sucks about your boer worms. Hopefully the ewc works!
