looking at fans and charcoal filters because the smell is becoming to overwhelming for my wife.

Id think anything around 200cfm or more be good. But no pro. That would by the math exchange all the air every 1 minute.

I’m drawing exhaust from two 4x4 tents through a diy setup, one six inch max fan out through a Phatt filter 10x24. Works flawlessly.

i run 400 cfm wide open both intake and exhaust, both filtered, one pushing one pulling,no ac or heat

there is a formula to determine size of fan "cfm's"

Take your height multiplied by your width by your length and get the cubic feet of your room, you want a fan that will change out that air at least around every minute-400cubic feet room would need a 400cfm fan. Hope that helps.

Also if you are pairing this fan with a carbon filter then its ok for the fan cfm to be a lil bit higher than your rooms cubic feet cuz the filter and any turns in your ducting will decrease the fans efficiency some.

I found this set up hope it is enough cfm for my room it's about the most affordable I can find

I use the same fan and a 6x20 filter in a 4x4 tent and now in a 2x2 tent no problems,I also use a speed controller.
