That is 100% right...
I give some examples..
We all know wish gave us the basics...
But he cant account for every persons exact setup..
He likes 18/5 on the cns17..
he likes 1/2 gal

Joey like 18/? to 20/?
and is gonna go 1 gal

And me I think I might like 1/2
and max of 750 ppm! In coco flower..
In Veg I feed 500 ppm

(I have fed 1.75 ec from rooted clone right off the bat..)
It worked but in is finicky,
less ec allows for situations that might otherwise be toxic...

Another thing, and this is really gonna smoke your gizzard..
I made a res at flip..
This beotch(es) were eating 50 ml a day of base.
At the end of 3 weeks they quit eating...
really didn't consume much the whole next week.
I changed the res, and set it at 450 ppm and they dropped it to 430 ppm in a week, so then I changed to ripe and they ate about 50 ppm and then that was it...
We been going for like a week and the ppm actually climbed 10 ppm from the ph up in the auto ph controller. It may have consumed 15 ml ph up this week.. But they are getting fatter than fuck..
Strange... The cold water has messed up its rhythm I think.. I have my share of fall leaves. which makes me wonder if it was too cold in the water for the roots if they could break down lower big fan leaves for its needed pk needs...

I think the only existing pictures of that grow are on my phone. I'll see if I can dig some up lol. I know I have one of them hanging up to dry. But yeah, no complaints, nice dense nugs that were heavy couchlock. It was Aurora Indica from Nirvana, nothing special. Still have a couple beans of it actually.

Yea I start at 18-20/5 and adjust the silica according to ph. If lots off additives(pk boost/sweet) more silica is needed for ph (I don’t use up or down). If I use just base then 5 ml or less silica keeps me there.
Also ea I’m going with 1 gal. My whole thing is I want to feed roughly hourly. As lon as I can do that I think a slightly bigger pot may actually be benificial. We will see.

Not the best pictures didn't take very many. Honestly didn't turn out that bad. I yielded like exactly 5oz and had nice fat buds. That's why this grow was kinda frustrating for me with the popcorn bud. I didn't have that prior.

Yea the first run was a hit but i learned a ton from that grow. And even seeded there was still some good smoke in there. I did gain some confidence with the last run, especially if you could have seen what they looked like at flip. Think scraggly bamboo shoots lol. The growmie is actually under my wing, just has a better setup. He did get us the gg#4 cut which you know is critical. Gonna get my log gong again for this run.
