Help Identify This Soil Bug!

These guys started popping up in my rapid rooters I started from seed! Any ideas? They are only in soil as far as I can tell. They look like a beneficial mite but I’m not too sure.

No dots means its a good bug

Hyposasis miles


Dots, meant you have spider mites. Black or red. Black normally come from forest areas. Red come compliments of growers.

Thanks for the response! Uptops showing some signs of trouble but I’m not sure if it’s a nutrient deficiency since I waited a good 3 weeks to feed. Any thoughts? Thanks again

These are about 20 days from sprout.Room Th is around 65% (I did have a night when it dropped to 35%) temps 70-75 ph 5.7-6.2 rdwc current culture nutes at 80ppm a+b plus cal mag. R.o water. Water temp 69. Water levels about 2 inch’s below and roots are touching water now. I’m not top feeding but The root plug is pretty saturated from the splash up of the stones I guess. 65 watt Quantum board lighting is about 18 inch’s above

Raise the ambient room temp. For veg you want 80ish.

Algae = watering too much and or not enough air movement.

Fix problems, don' put bandaids on them. They just make the original issue even worse off.

Those look like mites to me.im sure 8 legs is a mite.not sure if good or bad.
