Just curious if thereโ€™s a consensus on time, trichomes or combination to judge when to then either chop the whole plant or just those buds ready to harvest?
COBโ€™s have thrown my calendar timetables off quite a bit versus LEDs and how they (LEDs) were somewhat more linear.

Just read Seamaidens sticky post about this, have a better idea, but still interested to find out the communityโ€™s thoughts.

These are from the smallest leaves in the bud, but also have understood that overall if the buds still throwing out pistils itโ€™s not done, even with the Amber trichomes.

That brown material looks like an external contaminate.
Those don't look like amber triches to me.
Can we see a flower pic please.

No contaminates, just cut off bud a few seconds prior to picture.

I'm seeing a lot of amber trichs and brown hairs. If it was me, I would chop.

Some strains will continue to throw a few white pistols, even when they are ripe. It's all personal preference, but I shoot for about 70% brown hairs and 30% amber trichs.
