Aalrighty, its my first grow, had some hiccups but now im in 2cnd week of bloom and things were going great, i turn on my lights to see yellowing in my leaves
So..its a grow tent, dwc drip system, ph was a little low but now back at 6.0, using general hydroponic nutes, using directions on the bottles, did a recent flush 3 days ago. I believe its an iron deficiency? Thats what i see when i google anyway. Bought some cal mag, will be here soon.
Any suggestuons? Am i on the right track? Do i need to flush system again?
Thanks in advance!!

Is it only on the tops and the newest growth? If it is just the tops then it may be as simple as too much light (too close). It may have little to do with nutes but in my opinion the General Hydro feed charts tell you to use twice as much as typically needed.

Also, cal is better absorbed at a slightly high ph and mag at a slightly lower ph and both never cross on the chart. In my grow I get good results if I let it start out low and drift up sweeping through a range but that's just me.

I use the ph chart attached as a guide....

I agee, too much light. Raise it up a few inches and see if she improves over the next few days.

When your plant goes into flower it's normal for some leaves 2 lighten up, this could b a small nutrients problem I would add a tad of calcium, as long as ur leaves are not eagle clawing, burning, pests, curling up, I should b fine, just keep a close eye on her. Your Friend Snoleperd

Sno,

Good point I forgot to say that but I often see the new growth in flower to come in sorta lime green and then the leaves as they expand and grow turn a deeper green. There may be nothing wrong at all and you are probably doing just fine. Keep doing what your doing but watch the nute levels cause like I said before GH gives you recommendations that sell more fertilizer but aren't necessarily the nute levels the plants really need. If you do end up with burn it can set back the progress of your plants, just keep an eye out for signs they are getting too much like tips of leaves on new growth turning yellow or the tips pointing down and eventually turning quite dark as they mature (leaf claw).

Also, what are your water temperatures? Keep them under 70F, because root rot (pythium) can sneak up on you and really impact your progress. Reservoir conditioners can be used to help control water quality but I get the best results when I keep the water at 68 and use a little H202 once in a while (every 3-5 days for me). Reservoir conditioners to me just mask a problem but don't really solve it but water chillers are expensive ($275) so I went quite a while using conditioners till I could afford a chiller.

Best wishes and keep posting so we can see how it all goes....

I realy dont , think u have a problem, as ur plant matures the leaves start out light color as ur plant is ready for harvest my leaves go black, as 4 nutrients allways give less then recommended, a they want you to use more, if you add to much you will burn ur plant, u can allways add more food you cant unburn a plant, check out ur ph, if your plant is stuck it's trying to get rid of something, I would flush out the plant, make shure ph is good, add a bit of calcium if u want, and feed ur plant less, at least 4 a while, when i say calcium i meas DE Earth fossilized diomites, organic & cheap, I could have a pest problem, just sprinkle a bit in the dirt, leave for 2 days & water, it will add a little calcium to your mix and kill any bug dead if u have them, as long as ur leaves are not burnt, eaten, eagle clawing or turning up you should b good, just keep an eye on her, I think you will b fine, if things do go south get in touch, your friend.
