Finally Dropped My Beans.

Ive done it too.. even when I knew better one time.. Was just getting it done.. and when I came back and thought about it.. I did a retransplant.. Not the best choice, but I pulled it out.

Today's update...i just removed some of the lower leaves from the NL, it is coming nicely. Gave her a good feeding of Mega Crop. I think over the next couple of weeks I will continue to "lollipop" her to get ready to flip.

The OG just refuses to let me give up on her. She's looking better every day. Today I topped it and trimmed some of the brown leaves. If she continues to improve I will wait for her to flip then both together.

Wow.. That OG PULLED IT OUT! Freaking weed for yeh. o.o Nice work getting it from the prior pic to this!

So I am way overdue for an update, most things are going great. My NL is overdue for the switch, but I am having major humidity issues in my basement. Dehumidifier should be here on friday and then I am going to flip the switch on her.

The OG is finally coming along nicely and she is going to be moved outside once I switch the NL to flower. Maybe in 3 or 4 weeks she can go to flower as well.


I snipped a couple of cuttings the other day and threw then in some soil. Hopefully they will take but probably unlikely. Here is how everything is looking in the tent atm.

The northern lights is one week into flower and I'm starting to see lots of white pistols. She's doing great.



The og kush got moved outside a week ago and seems to be liking the hot humid weather we've been having. It's doing very well.


I did a little lst and tied down a few of her branches...


And accidentally broke one of her main top branches off. I wired it back together in hopes it will heal. Fingers crossed.

One question, when I fed my northern lights last night the runoff tds measured 2800ppm. I've recently put a humidifier in and have been feeding when dry which has been every 3 days. Should i only give nutes every 3 feedings or so instead of every feeding. The mix measures about 515 ppm that i am feeding with and runoff tds has been increasing dramatically the last few days. Thanks in advance.

Week 2 of flower. ..

It's completely filling my 3x3 tent. I didn't expect that.


Lots of buds forming, I hope it is looking up to par but being my first grow I have no idea. Please chime in and tell me what you think.



That stalk is very an inch in diameter, much more than I expected.

The OG still seems to be coming great, it has grown a foot taller since I moved it outside. The branch I broke seems to be healing fine, no yellow leaves yet.



I have noticed some minor bug issues, but I don't think it's anything to worry about yet, only a couple of leaves. I assume it must be normal for plants growing outside.



I would love to hear some comments as to how things are looking as I have no prior experience. What do you think @Desert Rogue ?

You’re doing just fine. Wish my first grow had went as smoothly. I learned the hard way. Kudos on your progress.

Week 3 of flower. Buds just keep coming. I hope they start getting bigger soon.



I am getting a ton of "suckers" growing on the bottom branches where I previously removed leaves. I decided to stop cutting them off as everything I read says not to prune during flower. Should I continue to cut them as they are taking from the rest of the plant.

The OG is coming great outside.



I think the cooler evenings may be sending this girl into flower. Some pistols are starting to form.


I tried to take some cuttings again off the OG but it doesn't look like it's meant to be

I just flushed with water ph'ed to 6.0. Now on feeding day my runoff is around 1500, when it gets to 8-900 I feed again.

I'm on my first grow too, and just wanna say i'm jealous bro. They look awesome!

Week 5 of flower for the Northern Lights, the pistils are turning orange so I am starting to flush today. I remember seeing somewhere about using molasses, but I will need to do a little more research for that. Trichomes are all clear still so I am hoping I will get in 2 full weeks of flushing.

The OG Kush (bottom 2 pictures) Is in week 2 of flower and seems to be coming along nicely. Wish me luck.

Beginning of week 7 of flower and planning to harvest next weekend.
